maybe im slow, but i just noticed the Genius design that the Trilogy box art is. that is a complete pic of the Bat sign. and im gonna go all artsy/subjective and interpret it too....... - The first (left) part being in-tact - signifying the Dark Knight being whole and complete, new even. surrounded by a largely un-affected city
- the second (middle) part being on Fire - Signifying the Dark Knight being at war with himself, volatile and maybe out-of control. Also making an imprint on the city (the city is burning)
- the third (right) part being a void - essentially meaning just that, that he is gone from the picture. and all that remains is a broken city.
deep, deep shiznit man! and i ain't even high! #smoke# That was the first thing I noticed! Good innit?

Can't wait for mine to arrive on Monday. Didn't get the boxset as I already had the other 2 on blu-ray.

Finally got round to watching it, didn't think it was as good as the last one but still a very good film in its own right.
On the Did he die question. Nolan likes to leave audiences to make their own minds up, he said so after Inception, there was no right or wrong answer, think this is the same, it's up to everyones own personal taste if they wish to think of him alive or dead.
Personally, I say dead. Main reason being Bruce Wayne was a billionaire, eccentric playboy. He would have been hugely famous the world over, especially after his whole 'disappear for 8 years' routine. At the end he fakes his death then sits around without a disguise in busy cafe's? And no one recognises him?? He would be spotted in seconds. It happened in Alfred's mind, he wanted him to be sitting happy, he imagined that he was.
Didn't read through the whole thread so apologies if someone already said that, but it was just my take on it.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is ace so I definitely wouldn't mind it.

If they wanted a more traditional Batman (Levitt is great but a bit too baby-faced) John Hamm aka Don Draper from Madmen would be a great choice I think.

Michael Fassbender is a good shout too. Only thing going against him is the lack of bulk.
