plays both fullback positions but lets make no mistake he will be a leftback. we have a rightback speialist and 2 other players that can do a job there in jones and smalling also tony v, so dont expect to see him there

Does the dutch league have a break? otherwise he had a 3 month suspension lol. Bit like all the other players that didn't go to the Euro's...

The fact he can play both positions is a bonus if you will.

Have to say.
Van Persie, Kagawa and Powell in, with what looks like Henriquez and Buttner.
We ain't messing about this season.

As fa as I know, the Dutch league finishes earlier than most European leagues. Maybe that explains it.

Look at this goal Most strikers would be proud of a finish like that let alone a left back. Whats he doing all the way up there aswell lol.

I'm inclined to think we've scouted this guy for a good while and know exactly what we're getting. Evra wasn't all that when we got him, certainly no-where close to what he developed into so I think we've not just looked at this lad as short term backup but as an eventual replacement for Pat.
Very interesting signing, and one which just re-affirms what some had begun to doubt. We actually have a decent scouting system - this came out of no-where.
