All this is just fueling my dreams!
Don't for one second believe any of it, if it did happen I would most likely be reduced to tears!

this is either a contract negotiation ploy (he did say he would 'sign a contract for life' very recently) or, IMHO, he may want to work under his old boss one more time b4 SAF retires.
a sweet dream, that may turn sour soon enough.

They say its about a contract extension and he feels disrespected. I thought he forced the transfer to real for love. But i wish he would return.

its realistic IMO if he decides to leave Fergie would make a case to Gill and the owners it would be financially smart considering marketing promotions etc as well as trophies.
Who knows whats really going i wont get my hopes up but it could happen.

I think a straight swap with Nani and the almighty Bebe will convince Real Madrid to let him go.

Didn't Ronaldo come out and said he didn't celebrate as he was sad, not for personal reasons, but professional reasons though?
EDIT: That's not to say you're wrong Carbon, I think it is close to the date his dad died. Just that U read somewhere (maybe) that Ronaldo had said he was sad for professional reasons' and 'Real Madrid know why'.

with SAF retirering in close future and mourinho being one of the names to replace him, do you think this could sway ronaldo to united ? if mourinho does want the united job and if talks have already been done then surely he would not want his prized asset going to his possible future clubs rivals?
just a thought...

I'd be pretty happy if, by some miracle, Ronnie came back to United.
Just wanted to make that clear.

www.supersport.com/football/spain/news/120904/Ronaldo_sad_comments_annoy_RealReal Madrid officials were on Monday trying to make sense of Cristiano Ronaldo's outburst, complete with an explicit wish to leave the club. A Real Madrid high official who asked to remain unnamed told DPA on Monday that Ronaldo's outburst was "whimsical and ill-timed." The source confirmed that Ronaldo wants to leave, but noted that "nobody knows why." Ronaldo did not celebrate his goals on Sunday. "I do not celebrate my goals when I am sad. I am sad due to a professional issue that the club knows about. That is why I was not celebrating," he said afterwards. "I am not happy, the people here know why. I am not going to talk more about this, there are more important things." Club sources said that the winger did not even give president Florentino Perez more specific reasons when the two met Saturday at the player's request. "Everything has come by surprise," a Real Madrid source told dpa. "It all comes with a two-week break for national team duty, and just a few days after winning the Spanish Supercup against Barcelona. Nobody even remembers that and we should be partying still." Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, said in a statement that he knows why the player feels this way, but he also declined to say why. "It is up to Cristiano Ronaldo himself to disclose (these reasons) or not, as he sees fit," Mendes said. He said he was "not surprised" by Ronaldo's comments. "Anyone who knows the relationship I have with Cristiano Ronaldo knows he will always have my full solidarity," Mendes said.

Is the professional reason Ronaldo has finally realised that no matter what he does, unless he signs for Barcelona he won't be able to win the Footballer of the Year award?
Get him back here. In January, if possible.
100 pages?

here's a strictly theoretical question for you, im not suggesting the following should/will happen, im just trying to gauge the feeling out there.
we know Real want Chicharito, would you consider sending Chicharito to Real as part of a deal for Ronaldo?
