Reports in Spain suggesting Ronaldo has told the Real Madrid president he wants to leave the club. He told Spanish press after the game today that he didn't celebrate his goals because he is unhappy with people within the club, and they know who they are. Usually I'd call bullshit but if Guillem Balague deems it a worthy topic, I'm listening.
Thoughts? Could we even afford him if he wanted to come home? Imagine a forward line of Rooney, Ronaldo and RvP...and then pull your pants back up.

even if city wanted him madrid would settle for nowt less than a fleecing. they'd want an offer of 150-200 mil before they even returned the fax with a 'fuck off'.
ronaldo is locked into that contract by his own high value. he's going nowhere. [unless blatter steps in? slavery and all that]

It's funny this. I hadn't heard a thing about any of these rumours but I did see Ronnie celebrating his goals and it reminded me of how he celebrated a few of his League goals for us near the end of the season he left. Like, 'Look more goals, I've done my job here, next challenge'.
If he came back, van Persie and Ronaldo, we could honest to God be unstoppable. Never going to happen though, unless Miracles occur.

Yeah, I didn't like that poker face expression after a goal. Noticed it myself earlier when watching the game but didn't think too much of it.
If Uncle Malc somehow pulled it out of the bag, would the Glazers be given a wide berth from here on in? Get the fucking Tampa Bay Buccaneers flogged and make it happen.

Or Ronaldo could just buy himself out of the rest of his contract and the club that buys him could pay him it back in the form of a signing-on fee?

Didn't Fergie once say that the only player he'd pay big money for would be Ronaldo should he become available?
I can't see him wanting to go to City in all honesty, as brash and arrogant as he is I still think he knows his home is OT.
