Lets hope so Chris. he is checking the forum, as he has posted under the guest tag, so that's good. Its sad to hear any long standing member leaving though.
the most we active members can do is keep elevating the discussion, and keep the sniping to a minimum (that last part is more a personal wish than anything)

at the same time i find it funny how quite a few people had a pop at red dub (and still are making jokes) for him going OTT and quitting and deleting his account, and now SET has done pretty much the same thing.
the difference? dub at least said bye !

Had no qualms about either leaving, but I'm genuinely more upset that SET has left. Still hopes he and red dub and se7en (etc) comes back. He has been around for ages, even when I joined. And I thought he was one of the more balanced posters around here. Every time a poster leaves, this forum feels a bit smaller. Plus, the fact that red dub actually made a post of why he was leaving (which isn't wrong at all!), made him open to ridicule. But SET, perhaps more wisely, didn't. |

I deleted my original account in a strop a couple of years back. It seemed that he forum was just playing host to twat after twat arguing about nothing, so I upped and left. Maybe SET had the same thoughts?

Maybe SET had the same thoughts? I agree. I've had similar thoughts quite often myself. Kokka left for a similar reason too. Quite a few of the old crowd have. Raj (Rais.n.Hell) hasn't been around for months. I left him a message in his inbox recently, still awaiting a reply. Dizzy only surfaces bi - annually nowadays. While we don't see many personal attacks on here, I believe the degree of sarcasm is spiraling out of control. We only have a handful of regulars, so lets try to cohabit peacefully. |
