I had simple garlic and rosemary slow roasted tomatoes with some roasted veg couscous. Such a simple dish, but fuck me, it tasted good. It probably would have gone great with a big lump of harissa spiced lamb, come to think of it... Bit late now, though. Trying to eat red meat only once a week at the moment.

I made a chicken jambalaya earlier with salt and pepper chicken wings. Pretty damn good.

Usually with these supermarket meals they're not as bad as they make out, this was more fierce than expected. Been in tears watching some of the boys from work trying it aswell.

So I'm in Milan presently, on business, and I've been looking for good places to eat. My hotel concierge suggested a little family owned bistro called "Crispi".
Brilliant.
Had a "Grilled octopus with burrata stracciatella and taggiasche olives" for appetizer and sliced Argentine Angus with red wine sauce. Just sensational.
Bufala mozzarella has changed my life. I refuse to acknowledge that rubbish block of cheese they call "mozzarella" in the grocery store anymore. This is the only mozzarella I now know.

You can buy blocks of mozzarella? I thought Buffalo was the only stuff besides the shitty grated stuff which probably isn't even mozzarella.
