i get u , but i LOVE the cinematic (big explosions) feel of the previous COD single player modes, just found that they were too short. (convenient tho when u borrow a copy)
i also hate that i get my arse kicked online due to fact that i dont pick up the game from day 1 and thus dont get used to the online feel of the game. hence why i shy away from the online side of it. but i do accept that is the major draw of this franchise.

Never played a current-gen COD. Had Medal of Honour which was boss for the PS2 and that's it. Also got SOCOM years after it came out for cheap but never got into it. Didn't have a headset.

(convenient tho when u borrow a copy) u should like this campaign then. i havent played it yet but they've spent big on it. trent reznor from 9 inch nails has done a lot of the music. treyarch campaigns are defo better than infinity wards (modern warfare) IMO. keither sutherland and gary oldman doing the voices in WAW. the rolling stones soundtrack to that one level on black ops. |

Glad the hear they are trying to do somethings a bit different with it, the series really needed some evolution. Doesn't really take up much of my interest, looking forward to Farcy 3 at the end of the month though, now that looks quality.

Nothing will EVER be better than Goldeneye for the N64. So I don't see the point in playing these sorts of games. Possibly Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six was almost as good.

Goldeneye 64 = REVOLUTIONARY!!
all modern day multiplayer shooters owe something to this game. it was THE multiplayer shooter that started them all.
as for Farcry, playing Farcry 2 now, quite nice thus far.
