played COD for a good few hours now.
not a big fan of the maps so far, one or two are OK. it's early yet so will have to wait and see.
if the maps are shite then it puts a serious downer on the game. the maps and the spawning on MW3 were terrible

What I would really like to ask is... is the Zombies in COD: BO2 any good?

Loving BO2 at the minute, which is great because MW3 was so shit. My only gripe is the hit detection online - I spot an enemy, empty half a clip into him, and somehow get killed by two panic bullets when he notices I'm onto him. I thought it was just me with this problem but it seems 6.5 million people are getting the same treatment. Ain't played campaign or zombies yet (I plan to though), nearing first prestige on multiplayer

it could be your connection red. mines not great and it's a big disadvantage against people with good connections. my whole set up is wrong really. moderate nat type
starting to enjoy it more. back to hardcore CTF which we used to do well at on the first black ops

Pfft, I remember the good old days of CS on 56k dial up. No reason to complain these days

its not the connection speed thats teh problem per-say, its the ping / latency to the servers. someone who's closer to where the server is based will be playing 'faster' if you like

Pings are the measurement of connection speed, its the time it takes data to go to the server and back again. These days I could easily have a lower ping to Australia than what my good ole modem did connecting to Uk server Are all the BO2 servers in the US or something? If so thats pretty shit for game that rakes in £500million in 24 hours.

no, ping measures the time it takes for your packet to reach the other end and back again, not the speed

What the fuck is going on with Zombies? I have sat here for 20 minutes, waiting for a game to start and it just isn't doing anything. Its just searching for players.

What a shite game. Tried it out , thankfully, at a mates place before buying it myself.
Same old shite , different year.
