Ah. Good prices still.
I always raid the United reserves when I'm anything lower than Premier League. Loans and Transfers from Old Trafford get me promoted and stay up. Especially from League One, it can be a cakewalk if you get the right players in. Matty James was a dynamo for me, for example.
Also check the city reserves, they don't give a damn about their young/reserve players.

Football Manager 2012. While I was winning everything in Germany with once-minnows Mainz, Steve Bruce just got MUFC relegated in season 2018-2019 while City won the Champions League for the 3rd year running. (beat me in the semi-finals twice in those 3 years!)
Also, Ronaldo is playing for City, and they have Paul Scholes as a first team coach, Vidic as an assistant manager... seriously.
I know it's just a video game, but this is depressing. I'm gonna have to add another manager just to play United with.
