Such a pity that cunt van Bommel injured Rooney because I reckon our 2010 team could have won everything with Rooney fully fit. One of his genuine world class seasons. Was also at that final. We had some fun once. Apart from the derby goal, literally the only thing I remember Owen doing at Utd. Any chance we could give his league medal to more deserving people like Paul McGrath or Norman Whiteside? |

Those fucking fences too. I remember we beat Newcastle in the mid eighties with a late result, cup game, can't remember which competition, smashed my hand against them when we scored. Thought I broke the thing!
Edit. Just done a quick search and I can't find the game. I was sure it was Newcastle, it was a mid week game, and it went to extra time. Would have been 87 or 88. Hmmm. Fucking memory is shite!
