In 1994 we beat Spurs away 1-0 thanks to a Mark Hughes goal.
In 1995 we drew 1-1 away to Newcastle with Hughes bagging the goal.
And in 2005 a young Wayne Rooney bagged his first Manchester United goal against Liverpool - also away:
In 2 of the 3 Premier League seasons we have played on 15/01 we haven't won the league!

YES! He was better in the number 8. Seemed to love the game more, he was less jaded then.

On This Day:
In 96 we beat Sunderland 2-1 away in an FA Cup 3rd Round replay with Scholes and Cole getting the goals. Cantona scored 5 times in the FA Cup that season - including goals against Sunderland in the original 3rd round game, citeh in the 5th round and the winner against the scousers in the final. The only round he didnt score in was the semi vs chelsea
In 99 we beat Leicester 6-2 away in the league en-route to the Treble. Yorke bagged a hat-trick, Cole got 2 and Stam bagged what turned out to be his only United goal.
In 2010 we beat Burnley 3-0 at Old Trafford in the league. Berba, Rooney and Diouf (his only goal for United) doing the damage as we avenged an early season defeat to The Clarets.
Finally in 2011 Spurs and United played out a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane.

On this day in 1993, Paul Scholes signed his first professional contract with United alongside fellow academy graduates David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville, Chris Casper and Ben Thornley.

R. I. P. Duncan. We missed out on so much more than just a great young talent.
