25 years ago, we beat Barcelona in Rotterdam to win the Cup Winners Cup. Great memories of that game. Went on a coach from OT. The alcohol ban was a big thing then and meant we had to use the shortest crossing which was Dover Calais. Once on board everyone was running around like headless chickens emptying the duty free bars and trying to get tanked up in an hour. Great performance from United and thoroughly deserved the win. |
