I don’t think that I’ve seen a better finish to a test than I did today,where ‘Broady’ hit a six with his last ever delivery,and then went on to take his last ever wicket to win the game and draw the series.
I’m still shaking my head!
This is why sport is just so watchable.
And to think, the ‘mericans can’t get over the fact that a five day game can still end in a draw😂

What a series.
And Broad, absolute legend.
6 with his last ball faced in cricket, and the winning wicket with the last ball bowled. Only way it could have been better is if that sealed a 3-2 win instead of 2-2 but can't have everything!
Always felt a bit for Broad, that he was overshadowed by Jimmy, but he's just as big a legend in his own right. Brilliant career.

I've genuinely never recovered from the 1999 debacle, the fact that today is 1-run short is eery.
SA were doing phenomenally when batting first at this WC, chokers (again).

I just don't know what happens to this team when they reach semis. They fold quicker than United ! Bavuma is the worst captain in this tournament by the way. His team have reached there in spite of him. It's sad because I'm sure even he's wondering why he was handed that position. I don't know what he did to deserve it. |

That was a great match no doubt , but the 99 was a semifinal in a World cup and also started the reign of one of the greatest teams in the history of cricket. |
