Looked through this section of the forum, and not many cricket lovers eh? Or are there and you all are just in hiding?
Anyway, I'm a cricket maniac. Any other fans of this great sport on the forum?

Love Cricket. There is usually an Ashes thread pops up every Series. I might be mis-remembering but I think we had Cricket thread way back in the day as well.

Good to know. I'm a Pakistani so cricket is something in my veins, haha.
The England-India series going on is interesting. India seemed to outclass England in the recent ODI. Sri Lanka have been very dissapointing against Australia, and New Zealand have been completely slaughtered in the test series so far against South Africa.
I'm just waiting for Pakistan's tour of South Africa to start in February though. Gonna be very challenging, and I'm somewhat pessimistic about it. South Africa are in great form especially in tests.

Massive cricket fan. Cant wait for the ashes. And dont worry Im not an Australian fan, I wasnt born here so never adopted the Cricket team. Cant wait to see those arrogant **** murdered by you pommies. Maybe then theyll get some proper leadership, team selection and management into the team

No Idea how i missed this thread , Cricket loving Indian Fan.
Unless Clarke gets fit i don;t think that Aussies have a half decent chance of winning the ashes series. This team is the weakest Aus team and there really isn't many winners in there who can take on a side.

Aye I missed this thread too, I remember talking about cricket on here some years back and there was next to no interest. The games really grown on me as I've got older. Went to see the test at Lords versus NZ. Cant wait for the ashes, shame it didn't start earlier to cover the off-season better.

lil shocked and amazed at how England threw away the match today. They were almost there and somehow still managed to loose the game. 20 runs , 16 balls and 6 wickets in hand with 2 set batsmen in you'd be crazy not to think that England would win and yet they didn't.
Gr8 going India , consistent thru out in the tournament and won this Cup as well to go with the World Cup.
