Sid Lowe, who knows his stuff in fairness, has been saying Barca have been getting away with murder in Spain all season. Defensively they are as poor as they have been in ages but domestically they are getting away with it. He said before the Milan game they would be found out sooner or later in Europe.

basically Sid Lowe is saying their domestic table is lying, which would be like a pundit over here suggesting the same about ours, because we've looked less than stellar at the back for much of the season ourselves.

No, basically he is saying that the spanish teams haven't taken advantage of their defensive issues/problems in much the same way that Norwich, Everton & Spurs (twice) have of ours.
United have dropped 13 points and conceded 31 goals in the league Barca have dropped 7 points and conceded 27 goals.
Both have also gotten away with it in Europe by dropping 6 and 5 points respectively and only keeping 1 clean sheet in the 7 games so far up until the Milan game - when we got a draw and Barca lost.

Watching them now and fair play, people over here say we have officials in our pocket, I've never seen it so bad as I have with Barca and Real. Fucking dancing on ice over there. While in the other game, MOTM Di Maria got 2 yellows in a minute Aaaaand Barca are behind, cocks. I had a -1 fucking handicap aswell.

Anyone whos seen barcelona the last 5 years knows there not quite the same animal they were those 3 season at the start of guadiola's reign. There not as intense without the ball now as they were and at times there very sluggish with it. I want to give milan the credit for the other night because there tactics were spot on and they all played well man for man and barcelona did not. Barcelona has become so dependant on messi that the moment he doesn't do it or has a bad game e.g. against milan they struggle to score the goals to go with there posession game. There not being pushed domestically but they weren't either under guadiolas reign bar last season and they still beat everything in sight. How do you motivate players year after year who have won what they have. So i do think there is a few players who are not as motivated as they used to be. Sure there were stories leaked that guadiola wanted to get rid of pique, alves etc etc because he felt the motivation had gone.

In fairness the pundits on ESPN like Sid Lowe have been saying Barca are not defending properly since the start of the season

I'm more concerned that what this win might mean to Madrid and their confidence level. Hope they leave their performance here and not to Old Trafford!

Epic. He manages a 520 degree turn on the way down, that takes some skill.

Goes back to my point that the tippy tappy shit gets boring, much rather fluent attacking football than 100 phases of mini triangle passes and trying to walk it in instead of whipping a cross in. We get frustrated because for a few months Valencia doesnt seem to get a ball in, imagine that week in week out from every player. We'd all end up bald as a coot ripping our hair out.
Not denying Barca are a world class team but I've never taken to the hype and find it quite dull at times. They seem to care about possesion and passing stats than the scoreboard stats. Passing the ball a milliom times doesnt win games.

Well , at least this means that Real have a chance at a cup other than CL and so hopefully they are tired by the time they come to OT.
If they had lost this , CL would have been everything to play for for them and that would have been dangerous. Not saying that they still won't but with another clasico to come , hope ronnie does most damage to Barca and very little to us.
On the other hand seems Barca seem to be getting to have a few "off days" don't they

I said from the beginning they'd win the cup tie and likely get battered in the league game this weekend before they play us. Expect Mourinho to rest a few players, maybe even Ronnie, before the second leg.
Good to see Fergie was there last night.
