The entire Barcelona establishment, from top level management trickling down to the players, reek of cuntiness. This is supported by the fact that Pep Guardiola himself spoke about how the management harangued him during his time off, and Pep himself could not find the time to go meet Vilanova when he was getting his chemo in New York, while being in New York ! Bizarre. Apart from being cunts towards people outside the club, they are cunts towards each other as well.

Why would it matter if Stevie Wonder was in the dark or not?

Bit of a ridiculous statement if I may say. There as good as any of the great teams. Ask anyone whos seen Ajax of the 70s or the great Hungarian or Brazilian teams and they will tell you so. Bit hypocritical considering the team Ronaldo plays for is full of diving cheats. I think Ronaldo warrants the Ballon D'or because he's had a great season for club and country and four goals in a huge game with that kind of pressure is massive but I don't get this Messi bashing. One of the greatest players ever if not the best ever and we have a thread putting him in the same light as Lance Armstrong.

One of the greatest players ever if not the best ever and we have a thread putting him in the same light as Lance Armstrong. Barcelona were great to watch in Pep's first 2 years only. That's it. That's when they actually used that possession to create tens of chances to score goals. But that shit got old. After that they used possession to bore the fuck out of opponents. They transformed into the perfect substitute for Valium and still are. They are efficient at literally strangulating the game out of any sort of ebb and flow. Yes it is a great technique and works superbly for them, but as a neutral or as a supporter of other clubs it is not entirely that difficult to dislike them. Doesn't stop them from being great mind you, just makes it easier to dislike them. No other team in European football get away with as much bullshit and referee-bullying as much as Barcelona does. The entire planet got to watch Sergio Busquets wink to his team after unfairly getting Thiago Motta sent off that night. The referee did not even bat an eye nor did he get any assistance fron the linesman that night. Now you may say it is because he was out of line of sight but I say it is because of this make believe reputation they have that they are the most squeaky clean proponents of the game and are hence beyond reproach. That is not just an isolated incident. There are other examples in clasicos , like when Dani Alves fell to the ground clutching his feet as if it had broken in two while in reality Pepe had not even touched him, or barely touched him at most. But then it was Pepe and he had a rep, therefore he got sent off without a moment's hesitation. Forget that, when a foul is committed against a Barcelona player, the reaction of the whole team is downright disgraceful. The way the whole team goes and surrounds the referee, putting pressure on him to pursue a harsher action than he had originally planned. Whereas with other clubs it is not tolerated nearly in a similar measure. They get away with shit all the time. And that is no conspiracy theory. The open praise doled out by UEFA and FIFA to Barcelona and Messi in particular is embarrassing to watch, considering they are the governing body and hence should maintain neutrality or at least fucking try to. It's like the ICC coming out and saying they would love England to win the next cricket world cup. Regarding the Messi thing, let me make one thing clear. The use of HGH is banned in all sports, amateur or professional. Lionel Messi would not be where he is without the drugs. That is 100% fact. He wouldn't be able to fucking jog for 15 minutes let alone dribble the length of the pitch for 90. FC Barcelona, trustworthy that they are, say Messi discontinued taking it ages ago. But HGH is almost impossible to trace. The follwing quote explains this. "Why is it so hard to test for?
HGH occurs naturally in the body, which makes it hard to distinguish between what is produced regardless of outside interference and what is an administered dose.
And it is almost impossible to set a blood level of HGH that would be considered unnaturally high and indicative of doping, because levels of naturally-occurring HGH can vary by more than 100-fold in response to factors such as nutritional state, sleep and exercise." There is a clause regarding the use of such hormones . It reads something like this. "A therapeutic use exemption (or TUE) is granted for a player's use of a banned substance when that substance is considered medically necessary. Section 46 of FIFA's anti-doping code contains provisions for TUEs."But I got the following interesting point from Bleacher Report. "While Messi would technically have needed a waiver in order to have the medical treatments, and the facts would support the grant of this waiver, it is unclear whether Messi had this. WADA did not begin testing for HGH until 2004, though it was on the banned list much earlier." Why is his usage of HGH an actual bigger deal? It is as follows. "Why might a sportsman take it?
In simple terms, to increase muscle size. Because there is a correlation between muscle size and strength, competitors in events that require power and short bursts of explosive strength would be most likely to benefit.
It also allows tired muscles to recover quicker - allowing you to train harder and more often."So yes, it is very controversial. Of course Messi had a problem and so he took it. But does he still take it? Lance Armstrong took a concoction of EPO, testosterone and HGH to win 7 Tour de France titles and he was a legend until someone decided to dig into that whole success story. Is it really so improbable that Messi is still taking the banned HGH to stimulate and prolong his footballing career? There is always a chance, is there not? Yet nobody ever mentions it. Google it, you'll find barely 8-9 credible articles or reports on it. Why? Because he is a fantastically talented man? He should not be questioned about his usage of the drug? Whether he still uses it or not? because he scores 90+ goals in a year. Instead it is championed as a tear-jerking story of a boy with a dream who made it big. Making both Messi and Barcelona look like protagonists in a wonderful Hollywood movie. But in reality it is mere business, and questionable business at that. With stricter doping codes in place now, I doubt such a story will rise again. I might be wrong, but it will be definitely more scrutinized than Messi's story was. That above was me speaking in technical speak. I don't always say all that. But I do when some arsehole (not you at all by the way, in case you take offence, I am referring to certain imbeciles I know at work) comes and starts spouting shite to me about how Messi is so fucking great and starts talking shit about Ronaldo. That's when I lose my shit because Cristiano Ronaldo has braved adversity from Madeira to Madrid through nothing but hard work, determination and the focus of a laser. What Cristiano Ronaldo is, it is because he is the most dedicated football professional on the planet. His work ethic is second to nobody. His natural athletic prowess is that of an apex predator's and his mental strength is tougher than titanium. And it is all him. No drugs no shit. I do not understand why nobody talks about that or mentions that. Just a read on Cristiano's workout regimen and the way he takes care of his body is the stuff of legend. But people think he is some kind of an arrogant showboat because he gels his hair and struts on the pitch with his head high and chest out. That's not arrogance, that is confidence. Confidence that you are the best at what you do. And for the last 2 years at least, he has been the best footballer on the planet. While Messi has been dodging taxes to the tune of millions and shouting and insulting Cristian Tello, Ronnie has donated his golden boot and a lot of money to charities and is adored by his teammates and coaches as the supreme professional and comrade. While Messi cancels his tour to the USA on a whim, Ronaldo travels all the way to Singapore to a University to talk to students. The stark difference in attitudes is there for all to see. Yet it is stunning how Sepp Blatter says Ronaldo merely styles his hair a lot. EDIT - phew a long one, but I have been in awe of Ronaldo the past few weeks, hehe.

Yet it is stunning how Sepp Blatter says Ronaldo merely styles his hair a lot. EDIT - phew a long one, but I have been in awe of Ronaldo the past few weeks, hehe. Personally i prefer to see football played like Dortmund play it, aggressive pressing, with technical and physical play but Barcelona are one of the great teams. No team is in the game to play a brand of football that allows the other teams to flourish as well. The great teams were always in control of matches. Milan were no different than Barcelona, they wanted the ball and didn't part with it easily, they even employed the same offside trap and merciless pressing of the ball. It can be tedious at times but some of the best performances i've seen from football teams have come from the Barcelona side under Guadiola, the 6-2 and 5-0 drubbings they gave madrid for example. Like you say when there full throttle they were spectacular. That midfield has to be one of the great midfield's certainly in my time watching football, xavi, busquest and iniesta, all different but it works so well and they are the engine room of a very dominant spanish team also. They may keep the ball alot but its up to the other team to get it back, i don't quite see whats wrong with that. To be honest Id like to see a united team that can keep it for more than 10 seconds instead of Rio attempting his awful calculated punts. On Messi, he took HGH no doubts ok, but it was because he had a natural deficiency that could only be corrected by taking it. My argument is not whether taking it has benefited messi in any way because clearly taking it has given him a chance to play football for a living despite his incredible talent but these accusations that he's still taking it on some medical waiver are unfounded. You can't smear someone because some people think he's still taking it, there has to be proof. With Armstrong there was a lot of nieveity but eventually the truth does surface and its the truth people should write about not some wild accusation floating about google. This thread would not exist if he was a united player and we found him and gave him the treatment he needed so he could play football, thats a fact.

That is the single best post I have ever seen on this or any forum.
