Be funny if it comes out when he retires that the whole time he was playing he was a massive coke-head and that he was steamrolling teams while high. that's a good way to give yourself a heart attack and potentially die...playing football while buzzing on coke is counter-productive if you're after an edge. |

How old is he now? I only ask because I think, with enough time left, he could actually have a career scoring rate of 1 goal per game.
He's 64 away currently, but last season he closed the gap by 13, this season he's currently 12 ahead.

Interesting question going round. In terms of consistency Messi is one of the greatest ever, if not top of the Pops. But in the toughest games, in his best from, would you pick him over the likes of Pele, Maradonna, Ronaldinho, the two Ronaldo's, Zidane?
