Not sure how many rugby fans there are on here but I for one love the game and am buzzing over this years championships, even more so now because I now have managed to get a ticket for the game against Ireland on Saturday in Cardiff woooo go me. Should be a close championship this year, depending on the openning games I think France will win it overall. Any other 6N fans on ere?

I've had a passion for the game for years. I was lucky enough to be at the 1989 Lions series win over the Aussies and also saw the losing series in the 90's. One of my all time ever best experiences was watching England over here as they moved towards the famous WC win in 2003, when I was painted, pissed and vocal in the crowd ($560 poorer for the one game!)
Sadly I lost touch with the 6 nations as it wasn't screened here for years. It's back on Foxtel (Sky) now though so I'm looking forward to being an armchair fan this time round.

Yeah, I'm just going to throw this out there.
My shcools growing up never had football so I pretty much played rugby, and got provincial colors for it until I finished school. Will always be a fan, though football has surpassed it in my priority list in the last 8-10 years comfortably. Will definitely be keeping an eye on the 6 N whenever I can!

I always support my country, done so for years. Gonna be a tough game for us in Cardiff and if i'm not mistaken Wales have hand the upper hand on us over recent games. At the same time we've had some fantastic results in Cardiff, we won the Grand Slam there a few years back. C'mon Ireland..!!

Always enjoy watching the Irish, have a good respect for them, mainly because they know how to drink and are a good laugh. Good luck for them but we'll be avin ya 2moro pal to end our dysmal run of losses. C'mon you Dragons.

Used to hate rugger, now it serves as a half-decent secondary sporting interest. Love Lions tours and the 6 Nations though. Kind of want Ireland to lose really badly, like, 0-0-4, because Declan Kidney is an anti-Ulster prick. On the other hand, I loathe to lose to the English and particualrly the Welsh (PAUL! ) more than Declan Kidney being an arse. I reckon we could have the Welsh this weekend, missing a lot of players and my boy Craig is starting on the wing for Ireland. On another note, did anyone else see the Welsh coach who came out and said they were glad they were able to cheat by swithcing the balls against Ireland, because they won and didn't get caught? He also said they would do it again. Rubgy is supposed to have this "moral superiority" over football. Bollocks. Can you imagine the uproar if Brendy Beak came out and said Suarez diving was okay by him as long as he could get away with it?!

No-one is missing more influential player than we are atm, we've got a lot of injuries as well so it should be a cracking game from both sides. I don't mind being disliked 2bh you cant please everyone, I like the Irish mind, not just because they are a good team but more so because of their supporters, they don't take shit too seriously and know how to have a good crack and that's what its all about. Woah woah woah, how dare you use us and Suarez in the same post, Say what you want about us but don't use that lowlife scum vermin cunt in the same sentence, good man Other than that am looking forward to it and shall have many a drink to enjoy it with.

If Scotland had somehow beaten the English, it would have been a perfect opening weekend results-wise!

I love the game, played it to a half decent level before injury finished me off!
I just got a ticket to the Ireland-England game so I’m going to bring my young lad. Should be a cracker I think, England are very much on an upward curve.
