Thought watching United under Ten Hag was depressing 😂. Nothing compared to this lot under Gatland. So devoid of confidence it's quite sad to see now.
Bit of fight in the 2nd half but ultimately still a training exercise for the Springboks.

Thought watching United under Ten Hag was depressing 😂. Nothing compared to this lot under Gatland. So devoid of confidence it's quite sad to see now. Bit of fight in the 2nd half but ultimately still a training exercise for the Springboks. Super young Welsh side, and they showed some grit and character at times. The Boks weren't at their best on this tour, but showing there's some depth in this squad building towards 2027. Reckon the All Blacks may be at a new peak by then, and if Ireland/France keep building it could be an epic WC. |

We've got some good players coming through but are being held back by out of date coaching. Doesn't help that the WRU are strangling the life out of Welsh rugby, especially the regions. Needs a complete overhaul before things can improve significantly. Wasn't the mauling I was expecting tbh, but shows the gulf in class when you're not on your A game and still look reasonably comfortable. Was more caps on the Boks bench than in our first 15 so plenty of depth there aswell as the quality. |
