I’m not sure how that Ref didn’t see that clear penalty at the end. Ridiculous really. Miles over the top and interfered with play. Shocking.

France couldn't have done anymore. Just like the game last night, small details matter and under pressure the southern hemisphere teams just make better decisions.

France were at least trying to play decent stuff. SA are lethally effective but it’s pretty boring to watch. Your back play is basically get the 10 to kick it really high and the wingers chase and jump well. It’s the reason why most neutrals prefer the All Blacks in games between the two sides. |

I do think the way the breakdown is contested in is a big problem if you want sides to play expansive rugby.
