Well. That was something and a half. Fuck off Wales. Hopefully f Fuck off England. But most importantly, fuck off Wales, Gatland and Jonathan Wanker Davies and Brian Moores.

Hard to take that is but we have plenty of positives to build on for the World cup and we also had the harder schedule having to travel to both Dublin and Cardiff.

I played rugby in my army days. No matter win or lose we would all go to the NAAFI after and have a good old drink and be friends and get pissed. I bet the English & French players will do exactly the same after that match and talk about the match.

Great end to the championship and obviously disappointed England fell short but congrats to Ireland.
However I'm old school and it's only Grand Slams and Triple Crowns that really count. If England had won on points it still would have been a bit hollow being beaten so easily in Ireland.
In the same way Ireland deep down will be disappointed to have been defeated in Cardiff.
Bring on the World Cup.

Typical French running that last penalty. For sheer drama on a final day that was almost unbeatable in any sport anywhere in the world. Well done Ireland, England and Wales. Monumental rugby from all 3 nations.

Bring on the World Cup. Ireland lost by 7 points to Wales. In the last minute Barnes pulled a penalty out of his arse as we'd driven the welsh scrum off the ball and should have had a scrum 5 yards from their line. Heavily?

We didn't heavily beat the Irish but we deserved it. Same goes for Ireland and the 6 Nations... Better side over the tournament so deserved to win it.
As for England... Just glad they didn't win it. Happy days.
This is why I love the 6 Nations though. One of the best sporting tournaments on the yearly calender. Some top Rugby played today in all 3 games. Just hope Waled and Ireland can carry it into the WC.

I didnt have the exact score to hand.

Wales deserved to beat Ireland in truth. That 2nd half against England cost Wales the title.

Wales deserved to beat Ireland in truth. That 2nd half against England cost Wales the title. Yes I'd agree with that. All three teams however can look forward to the World Cup with confidence. Ireland have the strongest all around game in the Northern Hemisphere. Wales can beat anyone on their day and have the best goal kicker in Halfpenny. England will be at home and have great try scoring potential although they make too many defensive errors. The Southern Hemisphere won't have it all their own way.

Wrong Smithy. The 2003 World Cup winners were good, better than England nowadays. Robinson, Greenwood, Tindall, Cohen, Johnson and the 'silent assassin' Hill etc. I just remember the attacks we received from the aussie/world media in the build up to that tournie. It was bloody hilarious when we beat Aus in the final. I had to put up with all kinds of abuse for weeks, and then to win it like that was brilliant. One of my favourite sporting moments ever.
