So what happens next is we go and get beat of West ham then the pressure is back on ole, but then we go and beat Leipzig to qualify as group winners and he keeps his job longer, rinse and repeat We can only finish as group winners if PSG fail to win next week. Even if we can beat RB we essentially lost control of the group last night..down to poor in game management & poor tactical awareness again!

I’ve only just seen our fixture list for the coming weeks. Jesus, it’s fairly brutal. Things could take on a very different shape, one way or the other, by the middle of January.

The next three games could see him gone.
Anyone that didn't hear Simon Jordon on Talksport today, really should take a listen to what he said.

A common theme with Ole is that he is much more comfortable being the underdog. His best spells with the club were when he took over initially and after the restart from the pandemic. In both these instances we were trailing 4th spot significantly and were not expect to finish top 4. In 2019 he got us into contention then we fell apart and last season we nearly bottled it in the last 3 games once it was in our own hands. He's lost 3 semis, loses vs teams that we should beat comfortably, has a dreadful home record and now is doing his best to bottle the Champs Lg after surprising everyone in the first two games. Ole would be more suited to a mid table club who thrive on counter attacking football and pull off the odd shock. He doesn't have the balls or the expertise to take us back to where we as a club belong or even win when it matters most.

Ole failed a basic test last night in not taking Fred off, Fred got away with not being sent off for the headbutt...yes I know the player that went down is a cunt like all PSG players are thats what they are like so do you all that you can not be drawn into the trap. Fred should not have seen any of the second half. Also Martial is not good enough he should have been hooked for the open goal miss.

I think Jordan can come across as a patronizing know it all but hes spot on about mediocrity being rewarded at this club.

Woodward Talking utter bollocks as usual. Stat of the day. Home win rate without pens 21% .Sean Dyche is 44% over the same period!

Though I agree with and welcome this type of analysis, especially from a person who is as experienced as Jordan is, I think he stopped short of saying what the real problem is. If as he says, Ole is Mediocre, then he is a symptom and not the cause. The real fault lies with Woodward and the board allowing for this mediocrity to reign, which he did kind of allude to, but did not say outright. The problem is that the Executive Leadership (including the board of management) are mediocre too, and hence cannot demand excellence as they themselves do not represent excellence as football executives. Barcelona is proof that having the talent guarantees nothing. You need top of the shelf executive leadership to hold the entire organization to the highest standards and achieve the high goals expected.

Anyone really disagree with this? Hard to disagree when you see the difference when he is playing or not...
