Poor Ole can't even get credit for signing a phenomenal player Yeah, I sort of agree with the statement and you hear it from fans of all the other big clubs. But all those other clubs could’ve bought Bruno while we were dithering around. They didn’t. We eventually did.

Of course Bruno is a United player , nothing wrong in utilizing him to the fullest , but at the same time we should not be dependent on him to this extent.
This is something Ole will have to fix soon , have said this before also but one of the things which showed klopp's ability as a truly top level manager is how he managed coutinho leaving. He was their most creative player but when he moved to Barca it hardly made any difference to their attacking output

Fucking hell, the tone of messages on here are like we missed out on Bruno. Get over it, he’s a United player and the best signing we’ve had in years.

It’s almost like the only way he can be considered a successful manager is if he coaches up the likes of Jones and Lingard and then wins the league. You know...like Klopp and Guardiola did with the underperforming parts of their squads.

Hmm.. I think for the vast majority of the people here the issues with Ole are very practical. Things like horrible game management and no clear style of play other than hoping we can counter attack. The more subjective stuff is the fact he helped the likes of Woodward and the Glazers save face for poor investment in the squad during his 2 summer windows.
I’d love to see him improve the pure football related matters, but after 2 years I just don’t think he has what it takes right now to get us to the desired level. I will be happy to be proven wrong.

You know...like Klopp and Guardiola did with the underperforming parts of their squads. I think we are a little more realistic than that. He hasn't gotten the same support as Klopp or Guardiola from City or Liverpools owners, that's very obvious and hampers him badly because every transfer window is a disaster and we rarely get the players we need to kick on. The question remains though, does he have a squad capable of winning something this season? I believe he does if they can find some bloody consistency. The sole strategy cannot be relying on one player to get us out of the shit every week, eventually that stops working.

Some are, but you know full well there’ll be people on here who will say we only won it bc ___________ player played well (probably Bruno.)

You're on to something here, a manager able to lead his club to trophies, if the players play well. Huge shock and surprise.

Not forgetting that he has the quality of Rojo, Jones and Lingard waiting in the wings (when fit) when needed.
