Incredible that we let Conte go because we beat Spurs, only to sack Ole two games later. Truly says so much about our ownership. Ole looks like Fergie next to them. Probably Fergie persuaded them to hold fire in the first place. 😡

No chance mate… give it a few months. That goal is the greatest moment in our club’s history Time heals all wounds. If I can find it in myself to remember the good times with Rooney after his atrocious last few years, I can find it in myself to forget most of Ole's managerial career in favour of his playing one, and I'm sure others can too. It just may take some time. He was offered a temp job and it somehow turned into a permanent position. He said yes because we all would. He’s not resigned because why would you when it will cost you millions? As a fan base i think we have to make sure we remember Ole for what he was. That baby faced assassin who was just phenomenal for us and the reason why we win the treble with so many goals … Liverpool fa cup etc etc

I can t wait till this over and I can love Ole again I never will. Glazer shill turncoat fuck. 100% this. The only way I would think of him with fondness was if he resigned, especially stating that he has to do what is best for the club he loves and recognise like Rio said ‘the baton needs to be passed on’. That would have taken some real leadership, instead he has just hung in their with no plan whatsoever and he has said some very bizarre things indeed

You can’t pick and choose here I don't pick and choose. I hate that Fergie so willingly covered for the owners. Difference is he won a shitload before they rocked up and after. I'll front up - I can be bought with silverware.

Reality is that if Ole loved the club he'd have walked away once he realized he'd steadied the ship and couldn't take us any further. He, out of all people, should know that three years without a trophy was completely unacceptable.
But what I have realized about Ole is behind the nice guy facade he has quite an ego and has come to believe his own BS that we were getting closer that there was progress that there was a process and a plan and all it took was another couple million spend!

I genuinely have issues with this line of thought. I’m still paying to go ti games? Am i part of the problem as well? The man loves the club and was given a job he should never of had. I just don’t think he’s the bad guy here. Awful at management and I’m happy this is apparently over? Sure. Not a club legend or hates them club? No

No It's easy to say you'd walk away when you're not in the position eh. Think it's mental the abuse the bloke is getting and that people can't separate the player from the manager. But each to their own. Like you said he's at a club he loves, he was never going to walk, it's not all down to him anyway. I know the book stop at the manager and all that jazz but the players have done their part aswell in all this just like they did with Jose. The next manager that comes in needs to stop that from happening again. Ultimately nobody is walking from a job they love. But it's done now so hopefully we can salvage something from this season and start to look forward.

He leaves the club in a far worse situation than when he arrived, having spent £450 mill. The new manager has one hell of a mess to sort out. I hope it’s a long dark & very cold winter back in Norway.
