Perfect player for us but as people have said, highly doubt it'll happen. I'd happily pay £50m for him but sadly I don't think he'd leave, or at least not for a few seasons.

He won't leave Arsenal but if he did become available I wouldn't be spending 40mill on him.
There are better midfielders than Wilshere that wouldn't cost that much.

I think there are a select few players out there who you'd pay a lot of money for, either the already world class ones, or the younger type who you are know are going to reach that level. For me he's already a top player and you know he'll reach the very highest level in the next few years (baring injury). Not a huge fan of this #10 role for Arsenal he seems to be playing quite a lot at the moment, would much rather have him play as a traditional box to box midfielder. His performances against Brazil and Barcelona are great to watch and also gives England hope in the future. Sadly I don't think this will ever happen but fingers crossed!

He's a good player, but he's not going to leave Arsenal. I don't see any reason to ponder about this. It's as likely as Cleverly going to them. Won't happen.

You mean, name midfielders that are better than Wilshere that wouldn't cost 40 million? I reckon there are a fair few, the only reason he'd cost that much is because he's English.

Also nothing to do with the fact that actually jim didn't get mocked at all for rating Wilshere as a player. Schweinsteiger, Vidal, Gotze. Not many, but there is a few. Yeah, they would all likely cost about £ 40 million. Schweiny maybe less because he's older.

no, it was because it wasn't tom cleverley i was hyping up. Do you think Clevs has what it takes Jim? I can answer that, for jim. Cleverley is a good work-horse, a 6 out of 10 player, will pass the ball about a bit but won't ever be something special. He isn't going to create goals or win games.
