Why? Cos Moyes said "I never said he was" to a reporter who asked if thiago was still a target? Moyes is correct, he never came out and said thiago was a target, cos its none of the press' business. Just the press stirring things up again, and yet people keep falling for it and reading into shit that isn't there. Maybe he was referring to the fact that Rooney had to work out in the gym and pool. Maybe Thiago can't swim?

No chance of Ozil but I'd snap arms off for Modric.

There's an interesting article in the Independant stating that it will be Robben and Ribery who may suffer from his arrival as it will push Muller out onto the right but the fact remains that he's still not guaranteed to walk into the Bayern team and rightly so. He needs to have his head rule here instead of his heart and he'll be in that Spain side come the world cup. Can't see Ribery being benched, was fantastic last season, plus hasn't he just signed a new 4 year contract? Modric would be a good shout, I know some people feel aren't keen anymore but I still think he could be brilliant for us along side Carrick. To be honest, with RM signing Isco and Illarramendi, they'll probably have one or two up for sale. Ozil would be a dream signing.

At the risk of repeating myself here, why on earth would you go to Bayern to attempt to compete for a starting place in a squad which is as strong as theirs? I mean it makes zero sense from his perspective, regardless of the Pep love-in. Unless he's motivated by money. If Thiago does end up going there then that kid has lost his marbles if you ask me. I've no idea what is going on in the guys head. Baffling.

After watching how dominant and great to watch Bayern were last season, part of me wishes they fail to some extent next season now that Pep's totally changing the system and the personnel.

Sammer (director Bayern): "Guardiola urging us to sign Thiago? We're totally fine with that. But at this moment we won't comment." [bild]

Even if he's nailed on for a starting place there, he's still got more competition in that Bayern squad to contend with in relation to sustaining his place in the side. If he doesn't do it there at the start his World Cup place is under more threat, as he could well be dropped and somebody else could muscle him out of their side. Still makes zero sense for his long term ambitions. Signing for us is still a no brainer. He's taking a risk going to Bayern football-wise.

If he signs for Bayern, let us pray he doesn't make the Spain WC squad.
Bitter? Me? Never.

Martinez doesn't want to play centre half, not should he, he's outstanding in midfield, so his take on all this would be interesting to say the least.

We need a Journo (specifically of United trend) to directly ask Martinez what he thinks about moving to CB. Might upset the order slightly given his answer!!

Journo: So Javi, how do you like the idea of playing in defense to accommodate Thiago coming in, considering your stated love for CM? Martinez: oh, well........ you know i would do anything for Pep. He's my idol, and i've loved him since birth. he can put me wherever he wants! Just making sure that we dont start getting our hopes up here. this is 'magical' Pep we are talking about. u know, the Pep that all the Spanish footballes drop their pants for, yeah that guy.

If Preppy CUNT (as shall be his official title from now onwards) permanently moves Martinez to CB, I would be on the phone to that boy's agent and tell him we want him to start every week in our midfield.
