If he switches to 3-4-3 to accomodate Thiago, then theres also the fact that he can only pick 3 from Lahm, Gustavo, Martinez, Boateng, Alaba, Dante, Van Buyten, Rafinha, Kirchoff, Contento & Badstuber for defence

If his advisors are 'football people' like they are making out then surely, SURELY they will see this and think its in no way plausible that he'll be a starter every week?

Can't imagine walking into that changing room and feeling too welcome.

Fuck me....what a team!!! Hate them already.....
Surely Thiago must see that he will struggle to get game time?
Also agree that we should put in a decent bid for a couple of their 'spare' midfielders....

There's an interesting article in the Independant stating that it will be Robben and Ribery who may suffer from his arrival as it will push Muller out onto the right but the fact remains that he's still not guaranteed to walk into the Bayern team and rightly so.
He needs to have his head rule here instead of his heart and he'll be in that Spain side come the world cup.

I agree with what you guys are saying. At the end of the day is Thiago going to be an automatic choice for Bayern's midfield, a shoe in? Not on your nelly. Not saying this is a sour grapes job but I do not believe that Thiago will be in anyway established/a fixture there, regardless of what Pep is saying in reference to moving Martinez. I'm not buying it. Thiago will be wanting out of there in a couple of seasons. Him moving to us is still a no brainer.

We're crying out for him to slot right in at United. Any sensible person can see that. There's no threat to his position from anywhere as far as I can see.

Who knows, maybe Peps just doing his bro a favour into scaring us to up our offer.
It would be sad to see him go there. No way could he get guaranteed play time, especially not like here. Even if he somehow did, your looking at few ruffled feathers for some experienced CL winners. And Pep saying he wouldn't come back for Barca's players.

Thiago's agent is his Dad isn't he?

No it's definitely Pere, his Dad pretty much might as well be his agent though to be honest and its known that his dad does most of the advisory side for him and Pere just gets the deal done.

Not saying this is a sour grapes job but I do not believe that Thiago will be in anyway established/a permanet fixture there, regardless of what Pep is saying in reference to moving Martinez. I'm not buying it. Thiago will be wanting out of there in a couple of seasons. Him moving to us is still a no brainer. I think we are 2 or maybe 3 signings away from really challenging in Europe and making another Final, thats why I still have hope that Thiago will choose United because it makes no sense to leave a club due to not getting game time and go into a squad that has a strong possibility of that being the case also at Bayern. United are going to challenge in Europe again no doubt about that, so hopefully he sees how much of an extra push he would give United because everyone knows we were extremely unlucky last year. For me if I was in his shoes, it really is a no brainer!

Why? Cos Moyes said "I never said he was" to a reporter who asked if thiago was still a target? Moyes is correct, he never came out and said thiago was a target, cos its none of the press' business. Just the press stirring things up again, and yet people keep falling for it and reading into shit that isn't there.
