Fabregas wants to join, Barca don't want to sell! Would assume Fabregas would have to push this through and we'll have to up the bidding. no attack on you Alt, your one of us after all, but without a specific quote this is just what the Journo's do. where's the quote man?!?!?   I can't quote where its from but its 100% truthful I can tell you that. No idea what will happen, with them not wanting to sell it's difficult, but with an official bid being made it shows that the club has been given encouragement from Fabregas and ties in with that I've said. A while ago when we were linked with Fabregas one of the Barca executives or someone high up came out and didn't rule out Fabregas being sold if he wanted to leave. As for Arsenal, can't see them being much of a problem, half the team he used to play with are no longer there and he will want to continue to win things. |

Arsenal are going all out for a striker this summer. It's their glaring weakness. If they can get a 25 goal a season man they could do things.

Well this is interesting. If BBC are saying we've bid, thats the closest to official without one if the clubs saying it. So if we have bid, there's no way we,d do that without having spoken with his agent first. As I've said before he's my number one choice. Never felt it would be realistic though. Maybe there's some hope... Well either way I'd expect to be clarified reasonably quickly.

To be honest you couldn't see Fabregas going back to Arsenal in relation to that first option on him, he left there in the first place to compete and win things. Knowing our luck he'll be pleading for Wenger to buy him back.

Maybe we pulled out of thiago transfer once cesc became available. Sounding more plausible by the hour . It cant happen. Can it?

You'd think £25m will be rejected but even if we end up paying an extra £10m, £35m would still be a brilliant bit of business considering the price other players have gone for this summer so far. Now an official bid has gone in, you'd assume that we'll know whether this is on or not fairly quickly. Read this afternoon that Thiago Silva maybe happening this week and could be as much as 42m (euros I think), so after the amount paid for Neymar, they may well need to generate further cash for Silva to happen. |

Anything can happen. When Thiago Silva signed a contract untill 2018 or when have you, then transferred to PSG weeks later I went cross eyed. With that said, we wont sign him. |
