Let's not go making any rash statements now SET. Come on.

Agree with SET. Don't rate Cabaye. Goes missing when the going gets tough.

It wasn't the Cabaye bit I was concerned about.

Ok, if we are buying a midfielder from a PL team, that isn't Mata, then i'd rather Fellaini.
Least he will get stuck in, rather than go missing. And he hasn't angled for a move as blatent as Cabaye - who is typical of the shithouse breed of French players.

Schneiderlin.
Completely agree the latest generation of Frenchmen seems complete tossers. Notable exceptions excluded, of course.

He looks good, but we need top quality - if not then id rather take a chance on Ward-Prowse from Soton or Hughes from Derby.

I'd have the pair of 'em if we could in honesty. Can see Hughes coming Premier League next summer for sure if he doesn't arrive somewhere this. Ward-Prowse is a lovely wee bugger of a player.

Schneiderlin. Completely agree the latest generation of Frenchmen seems complete tossers. Notable exceptions excluded, of course. Could be a good shout if other targets didn't happen, impressive stats from last season if I remember rightly and has been linked to Arsenal. www.goal.com/en-ie/news/3921/transfer-zone/2013/06/11/4040944/barcelona-vice-president-admits-fabregas-could-leaveVice president has come out and said that he could basically leave if he wanted to, least we now know that they are willing to sell. I think one of either Fabregas and Thiago will stay, but not both. Thiago is the fans favourite and who they expect to take over from Xavi so it wouldn't surprise me if Thiago did stay and Fabregas left, whatever happens though, whichever one leaves, we need to sign.

Schneiderlin. Completely agree the latest generation of Frenchmen seems complete tossers. Notable exceptions excluded, of course. He's a really good player, impressed every time I've seen him. If, god forbid, anything were to happen to the Strootman deal, we'd do a lot worse thsn look at this lad.

I'd rather have Gibson back than Cabaye. One of the biggest shithouses in the league. That is just BAD. I mean slate Cabaye as a shithouse or users for wanting him - i have no probs but to say that Gibson can be back is like hitting below the belt.. totally uncalled for SET. I am disturbed with this..

I'm watching ESPN Press Pass, Rafa Honigstein was saying he understands that we're going to attempt to sign Fabregas. Apparently we were pursuing Fabregas a while back, it then died down, now with Thiago likely to go to Bayern we're going renew our interest. There are a few factors involved but its a possibility apparently. Rumours starting again.

We have more chance of signing messi than fabregas.
And thats before you get into whether arsenal do have a 'first option' clause or not

No chance. Once Thiago's gone, we've got no chance whatsoever of signing another midfielder from Barca. I reckon they hate us right now anyway.

Rather go Real's way and get Modric anyway.
