Thanks Stew. I don't know about everyone else, but for me, there was an element of taking the gaffer for granted when he was managing us. I naively thought, meh, he'll be here forever. Just hearing him speak takes me back. Anyone not connected with that period will think I'm a stupid fucker, but that's the hold Sir Alex has over me. I've never met him or even been anywhere near him, but he definitely is a father figure to me.

We were very blessed to have such a driven, successful man at the helm for so many years.
