I know this sounds weird, I was beginning to have dreams he was leaving. Im not saying im psychic im saying thats how much it was worrying me.
I hope we get something quite incredible planned for Sunday. Im not fully prepared for Suinday.
I wish we could recall all tickets and give them to the most passionate fans - There can't be 1 second of silence on Sunday. how do you thank the man?

You can't. We can sing his name for 90 +minutes, we can wave banners in his honour. We can recognise his impact with a statue, or renaming a stand. None of it would do him justice.

For the first time in my life as a United supporter , I am afraid of what comes next. Afraid of uncertainty. Afraid of SAF not being there to take us through it all. He always had this air of assurance that he would take care of everything. A gaping chasm is left now.

He's not leaving. I really just cannot. He cannot. mate, watching the 08 dvd in which we knocked out barca I realised how underrated this squad is. Up there with the greatest. The whole squad was his. Everything was his.

Can we keep this thread from becoming a mirror of the other Fergie thread please? Reserve this one for saying thank you's and sharing stories/pics whatever?

The story that comes to mind whenever I think of ferguson is at the start of the season review for 96/97 the voice over says "Whar do you get for the man that has everything.....more". That was after 95/96

Completely agree Bestie, this is a thread for us to show our appreciation to the man. Not to wallow in self pity.
Where to begin though. So many fantastic memories. For me, I will forever remember him soaked through in the middle of the Moscow night, holding aloft old big ears. His European record was good, but not great so he deserved that second one. It's just a shame Barcelona stopped him from adding more.
I'll definitely be adding more to this thread.

To the tune of the scottish national anthem.
Sir Alex Ferguson, When will we see his likes again, He came to Old Trafford, From A-berdeen, He won us trophies, (How many!) So many trophies, He sent the scousers home to cry,
