I think a fee around what we paid for Smalling would be about right, wouldnt pay any more than that for him as he is very raw at present.

he'll be a big gamble for the buying club at the price palace will possibly get for him. around the 15mil mark i'd guess. don't think anyone will pay 20.
hoping he does leave in jan to shut my palace mates up who are full of it at the minute

Id be raging if we swapped Petrucci for this kid, who has done fuck all btw, Petrucci oozes class and would already be in the first team had he not missed 2 seasons of development.I would loan him to CP, he needs 1st team Footy but definitely no sale.

good reserve player doesn't always = good first team player at this club. it's rarely cautious optimism with some of ya's either, it's neck's out, this player is great, fergies a div for not playing him. there's a big gap between the 2 levels, only very good players spend minimal time below the first team.

I think Fergie has plans for him though, he has made him Captain of the reserves to keep his interest and he can be the only reason we are keeping his best mate Macheda at the club lol

It saddens me he's not been given a go, but surely, after a season and a half of being injury free, he's not even made the bench for Carling Cup/Dead Rubber CL games. |
