Just reviving this thread to ask... Does anyone think he will get a chance under LvG? Does anyone thing he deserves a chance under LvG? My take is that he may not have deserved it as such but I still see in him a raw talent that just needs the right guidance...somehow I think with the right attitude and application ( a la Ronnie) he could be a seriously good player... So why doesn't he deserve a shot under LvG then? |

His twitter pics make it seem like he's really pleased to be back at the club and keen to work hard, let's hope that's true because in terms of raw ability, he's got it in abundance.

Well, he's on the tour so he'll get a chance to impress Louis. I really hope he grasps it, still think potentially he could be a major player given his attributes.

He deserves fuck all in my opinion, he had a chance to go to Cardiff and show people he could do something, instead he contributed very little really and didn't show alot. I don't think he's the most professional lad to be honest. Id rather see Nick Powell get a run in the team this season

Yep let's not forget that Moyes hated attacking players. He didn't even like RVP. The only attacking players he like are ones that defend. |

Johnboy...cut him a little slack...he's young and he saw his dream being systematically destroyed bu an anti-football 'manager'...so he reacted badly...a lot might have done the same...yes, he may need an attitude check but Ole saw it differently...if LvG can't turn him into a top player then I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong...I hope you'll do the same if LvG can work his magic... |

Yeah Ole didn't seem to have a problem with him. I think there was a definite subplot to Zaha's relationship with Moyes. Whether it was Wilf chucking one up Davey's daughter, whether it was just an attitude problem, whether Zaha was disappointed to not get the chance to work with Fergie or whether it was something else, I'm sure it'll all come out in the future.
He's a talented lad though without a doubt. I think it's interesting how he was still in Moyes' plans for the Shield game last year which he started, then all of a sudden he was gone.
