Got about halfway through the first season and I'm feeling the same, I'm enjoying it but haven't rushed to finish the season yet. Think a lot of people are comparing it to game of thrones aswell which wont help. Finding it hard to get into anything atm so perhaps that plays some part in it. A couple more episodes into it now and I’m starting to fully enjoy it. Just 2 left. I'll finish it at some point. Think I've watched that much stuff lately just need a break from it all

Started the expanse last week just on 4th season now, it's great I can see why a few on here have really enjoyed it.

Liked it but never catched me despite being a huge science fiction fan and hearing how good the series must be. However after so many tries with the first season and finally sitting through it, wow... I started to understand why people love it. It builds up slowly for a whole season but from the last episode of season 1 it just becomes truly amazing

The Expanse is genuinely one of the best new shows of recent years. Brilliant series.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! i`m in shock...what the actual fuck??? some of you guys in here watched la casa de papel a while ago, we even talked about it, damn good spanish tv series on netflix. i just read an article about the cast and when i read the name of the actor who played "helsinki" i froze. first moment i was like: "wait a second...i know that name...like, i know that name not from the tv series or internet etc but actually that name rings a bell." so i looked him up and i`m in shock...i cant believe that not one second while watching the whole series i actually realised it. darko peric, the actor who played helsinki in the series...that guy...was a friend of mine and one of the closest friends of my ex girlfriend, when i was living in barcelona. he and his then wife roxana had a squat in carmel which is a district up on the hills of barcelona. he spent some time in romania ages ago where he met his old wife and thats also where he and my ex met each other and became close friends before i got to know him around 2009/2010 through her. i actually have a fucking tattoo he made on my right arm, must have been around 2010. he and roxana helped me and my ex girlfriend out when we got evicted from a house and we stayed at their house for about a month until we found a new place. and darko was also my weed dealer back then. fucking shock...i`m speechless and cant get my head around the fact i never had the slightest idea it was him while watching the show. just read that he also played in "a perfect day" with tim robbins and benicio del torro. what the actual fuck???

Here is the interview he gave to a radio station in Romania. In Romanian. He speaks it better than a lot of guys here and he seems a genuinely nice guy.

Here is the interview he gave to a radio station in Romania. In Romanian. He talks it better than a lot of guys here and he seems a genuinely nice guy. he is a top bloke. i lost contact to almost everyone i knew when i left barcelona years ago. darko is just such a nice and lovely human being. back then we went to shows together, organized D.I.Y festivals in squats around barcelona. will never forget how he and his wife (it seems that they are still together and have a son now but he seems to still be very down to earth, not many infos on him) helped me and my ex out when we ended up on the streets, i`m convinced he probably hasnt changed much despite his fame now. very ideological person who will forever stick to his beliefs. and yeah, his romanian is top. IIRC he studied in bucharest and is actually a veterinarian but never wanted to make that his job. made a living as a tattoo artist when we met and the guy speaks a ton of languages from serbian/croatian to perfect romanian, english, german, spanish, catalan, italian etc. i remember some hilarious moments in their house. his wife was studying in barcelona at that time and it was brutally expensive to pay for that. thats why they grew weed in their garden to finance their education. and when it was time to harvest we usually passed by to help out for a day or two, made the hashish ourselves haha they were the nicest people providing drinks, food and everything. they both helped out illegal immigrants who got chased by cops during protests and let them into their house. i am still mind blown after last night...unbelievable how i watched and enjoyed the series and didnt think for a second that its actually him, despite still looking the same as back then. oh...and he is a huge basketball fan, we played a couple of times together on the street but iirc he actually is even involved in some basketball events. not playing himself obviously but he had some deep connection to it. crazy...fucking mental to see an old friend of yours in a huge TV series ages later. will probably have to rewatch la casa de papel now and pay much more attention to him. what a crazy and small world it is at times...

Warrior Nun on Netflix. Not bad, could’ve / should’ve been so much better.

Ju-On on Netflix. Prequel series to the first Ring-u film. Watched that with the missus last night. Probably the most weird program I’ve ever seen. Japanese have twisted minds. Did enjoy it tho. Fired through McMafia this week too. Really enjoyed it. Quite slow in parts but it’s a good insight to that world and a different spin on the typical gangster series
