Finished the Fall the other week.
There’s quite a few plot holes, and the main fella gaining about 3 stone of muscle in between series when only about 10mins has passed on screen took me out of it a bit.
Having said that, it’s still a good watch and the finale was thrilling. I heard it’s coming back potentially next year focusing on her working another case.

I’ll be gone in the Dark, the true crime drama about the Golden state killer, is absolutely superb. I think it’s better than Making a Murderer. It’s streets ahead of most shows I’ve seen in recent years. Thanks for the recommendation Stew. It really is brilliant!

We here in UK are so fucking lucky, Eastenders (an incredibly tawdry soap opera) restarts this week, after being deemed safe to film, with obvious precautions and restrictions ,following Covid. Be still my beating heart!

I could watch Gillian Anderson in a two hour advert selling carpet and still find her riveting!

Finished The Soprano's.
Can see why it is routinely voted as the Greatest Show ever. Marvelous show, brilliant writing and acting.
Talked with my wife about it afterwards, Tony is one of the worse people imaginable. He lies, cheats, murders, and is a hypocrite. Name a shitty behaviour and you can pretty much guarantee he will display it. Yet you find yourself siding with him. That's pretty impressive writing.
Might rewatch Breaking Bad just to compare the two.

Opened my DVD box, and there was both, The Sopranos and The Wire! I don't have any Internet for a few weeks, so I will be binging those two!

We watched the 1st episode of the Wire and just never ended up watching more. It's all on Foxtel so can easy download, we'll have to make that our next series to get into

Started Lockdown by binging Breaking Bad, again, not sure why it took me so long. Although it’s a bit like getting into a band four albums in. It’s almost better because you’ve got all that material already there to go through.

There’s so much good TV produced in America -from HBO in particular-I think it’s a toss-up between The Sopranos and The Wire imho!

Going to binge this tonight after good reviews -especially the (excellent) review from my beloved who knows all things, and watched it last week! Apparently he was a civil servant and rumour has it that he used to do a bit of “baking” for his office colleagues. What a top bloke! Speaking from personal experience, they’d have wolfed it down like ravening beasts were it free! www.imdb.com/title/tt11656892/
