Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled is about as basic as a TV show gets but it just works. Can't get enough of it. The ultimate chill-out show for the evening.

Queen Of The South anyone? A series about the wife of a murdered drug runner on Netflix.

Philly D.A Not surprisingly about the newly elected District Attorney in said city. Very good and highly recommended, primarily because of the sweeping changes he wishes to make to the established justice system.

Just started The night of. First episode is really tense! So many scenarios. Riz Ahmed playing a great part.

Just read it was James Gandolfini's project and the pilot was the last thing he ever filmed. ☹

Michael K Williams, Omar from The Wire and Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire found dead at the age of 54. Really sad.
Loved him in both those roles, was particularly sensational in The Wire. Might actually force me to rewatch that show in his honour.

Omar was the greatest. He wa fantastic in everything but his portrayal of Omar was other worldly.
A god. RIP.

Shocking news about Michael K Williams. IMHO The Wire is possibly the greatest show ever created, and Omar was the greatest character in it.
RIP.

Currently watching the North Water on BBC iPlayer. Bit like the Revenant if they started off in Hull.

Currently watching the North Water on BBC iPlayer. Bit like the Revenant if they started off in Hull. It’s good so far but has a long way to go to match The Terror.
