It was a nice stand alone episode but it didn't really move the plot along. I was also enjoying Joel and Ellie starting to open up a bit more and would have liked to see more of that.

Think this is how most of the first season will go tbh. Think there'll be a bit more action in the final 1 or 2 episodes but up to that it'll be mainly be character building. Also like that they've not followed the game to its entirety, although these programmes very rarely do. For those that have played the game it would become too predictable. So far I think it's been great. It's getting better by the week, just a shame it takes that long to get to the next episode.

Found the Australian version of SAS tough enough. Ant Middleton down under now.

Bill was pivotal to the narrative not because he’s a main character, but because his home served as a rest and restock outpost in the game from where the main characters are able to start the real journey. I’m glad they didn’t make Bill some kind of paranoid gun toting Wild West character. This arc gave his character some meaning. So in that sense it moved the story along that Joel and Ellie are able to load up and get ready for the upcoming madness.

That was a great episode. The flashbacks are fleshing out the bits the game didn't, and giving Bill and Frank a full show was so good. Sucks waiting a week now!

Tonight's TV, Happy valley then, TLoU. I have not watched a single episode of Happy Valley but love TLOU 1 episode in,never realised it was a game either which probably makes it easier to watch as I’m not comparing it, per GOT after reading his books.

Wasn't overjoyed with the latest TLOU episode. Bit flat and not very mich happening. I know it's building the story and characters up but expected a bit more to happen with it nearly half way through the season.

Story really advanced with this episode and much more relevant to the game. New side character as well with Rose from Two and Half Men. Going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

Finally got round to watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
BB - It's fine. Not quite sure it's one of the best shows ever. BCS however, is bloody joyous television.
