Rings of Power season 2 starts today. I don’t think I’ve ever been so desperate for a shit series to be good. Hopefully it’s improved from season 1. Better than season 1 so far but still largely disappointing. Just doesn’t feel like a remotely serious TV show despite the money spent. |

I remember only seeing the first season of Silicon Valley when it first came out, started watching it yesterday. Forgot how funny it was. Hopefully the other seasons are good too.

The penquin was superb. And Colin Farrell, take a bow. Maybe going OTT but honestly, that was one of the great acting performances of the 21st century. He was incredible.

The Penguin was so good. So little faff. Everything has purpose and meaning. Arguably the best show of the decade.

I met Farrell back in 99/00. He went out with someone I knew. He was absolutely sound then and he’s been absolutely sound every time I’ve bumped into him since. And he hasn’t changed a bit. Top, top bloke.
