Anyone else watched the roast of Tom Brady ? Used to love these on the comedy channel. A welcome return.

Late to the party, but I'm three episodes in of The Boys. My kind of super hero show 😁😀

The Pacific is so good. Hans Zimmer has produced the most fitting music. Nobody does true war like Spielberg and Hanks. I can't believe it has took me 14 years to watch it.

Added bonus of driving the MAGA loons nuts as well. Plus, the whole show seems to have been steeped in censor repellant. There have been multiple scenes across the 4 seasons that I still can’t quite believe I watched. It seems literally anything is possible.

Underwhelmed with House of the Dragon finale. Would’ve been fine as a mid-season episode but really lacked excitement for a season finale.

Bojack Horseman's final batch of episodes confirm beyond all doubt that it is one of the all time great TV shows. A truly masterful ending to an utterly brilliant, heartbreaking, thought-provoking show. Watching it again for like the 10th time. It really is a top tier animation show.

Underwhelmed with House of the Dragon finale. Would’ve been fine as a mid-season episode but really lacked excitement for a season finale. Apparently they'd planned for 10 episodes (like S1) and HBO cut it to 8 late on. As an episode 8 ahead of a big battle and its' resolution, it would have been perfect.

Hard to say, but it was better than Band of Brothers for me. The intro alone is phenomenal. I spent some time afterwards reading about each of the characters portrayed in the show, too.

I watched the last episode last night. It's so difficult to comprehend what those young men on both sides went through, obviously the point of view from the Japanese soldiers is not covered. Peleliu, Okinawa and Guadalcanal was absolutely horrifying to watch as a drama never mind being there. I thought Hacksaw ridge was graphic but The Pacific definitely matches it and reminds us of the absolute horrors of war. I must admit, a lot was going on that I probably missed, so I'm going to rewatch both series again. Masters of the skies up next.

Just got around to finishing season three of The Bear. A little disappointing for me. Was constantly waiting for the story to go somewhere and it never really did. Some of it very repetitive and unbalanced in terms of the screen time of certain characters.
Still had some great moments/episodes but definitely not up to the standard of the first two seasons.

Rings of Power season 2 starts today. I don’t think I’ve ever been so desperate for a shit series to be good. Hopefully it’s improved from season 1.
