Serious under-estimation of Cavani here. Incredible player. Not a position of need for us at all bug this guy is decking lethal, make no mistake. Don't want him anywhere near City or the Rents.

Dunno about that stew. Just that he isn't worth a £ 50 million plus huge wages outlay to us. He is a brilliant battering ram though. Like I said, one of my favourite sorts of striker. Definitely want him staying put or going to Real or somewhere we don't have to deal with him every week. |

We should stay clear of Messi too by that reasoning - 35 goals for the Argies, shame only 3 of them have actually come in official tournaments. Shit player.

There's no doubting 50mill is a daft price, but thats the way it is now - least you would get what you pay for. 80mill for Bale is worse. He aint up to Ronny's standard yet.

The prices are just silly obviously but he's a great player.
Anyway, we really don't need him. We have an outstanding international striker with a ridiculous strike rate that needs more games in Hernandez.

This guy would be brilliant at Chelsea, so hopefully he'll go to Real. Plays the lone frontman role to an absolute tee. Not quite sure about pairing him up with RVP though, not convinced that would work.
And there is zero chance we're likely to pay £50m for him in any case.

he scores goals, yes loads but 50 million?  he is not worth that, if he could beat a man, messi ronaldo style and offer more than goals then i think the price would not be one people baulked it. that price tag is usually resrved for the glamour players that come with image to market and wow on the pitch skills. falcao was sold for loads but in the end only monaco would pay, no one else was going to pay that much, bids were stopping at 30. if they reduced cavani's price tag to that level you would have many clubs begging him to sign up |

Maybe we're trying to annoy Real, who want Cavani....you let ronaldo home and we don't go after cavani sort of thing...I think bestie said in Bale thread we could use those tactics - about time, I feel we are to much of nice guys in the transfer market.
To sum up - I don't think we need Cavani nor are we prepared to pay anything near 50m for him...
