I didn't want Liverpool anyway, but 2 English teams facing eachother and the other facing Dortmund is a worst case draw when the coefficient needs all the help it can get. If England loses 4th spot for CL it will be so hard to get it back, and no team will be guaranteed CL each year.
We need to win the Europa not just for CL this year but fir CL in the next five years too.

We should have quite a few of the injured players back, right? Even though Liverpool are 'due' a result against us, they're shite.

I am normally optimistic against those cunts. But we could hardly be at a lower ebb. We need serious players to return for this match and a huge improvement in form. Our season has now taken on a new dynamic though. LVG has got a reprieve with this draw. We need everyone pulling together now.

Our past 2 wins at Anfield have relied a lot on luck and Gerrard's stupidity. On paper they're one of the weakest teams but won't be easy at all. We should win but hardly a gimme. Is the first leg OT or Anfield?

Liverpool at OT followed by City away 3 days later. Could be a huge week.

Is the first leg OT or Anfield? Last years win at Anfield required almost zero luck. We absolutely wiped the floor with them and were doing so well before Gerrard got sent off.

Liverpool. I'm getting a funny feeling about this Europa league. Could be a big one for us. A kickstarter. We can beat them.

This is a 50/50 match whatever way we look at it. LVG is one lucky manager. If he manages to get us to beat the dippers in our first European tie against them(I stand corrected!) then a lot of his wrongs will be righted in many eyes. Fucking buzzing with this draw to be honest.
