So contradicting what people think on our group. I'd consider it a good draw for us, tricky tie at Shaktar but regardless of that, we should beat all 3 teams. That twat Tancredi Palmeri thinks we have the hardest group, few others thing it's one of the hardest as well. Not as easy as before but we should still win it.

You on Ryanair.com already? Maybe...... That predictable eh? Haha. Gotta wait till the fixtures are announced tho "United's first game will be against Sociedad on September 17/18, before tackling Shakhtar at home two weeks later and then travelling to Leverkusen on October 22/23. The teams are then played in reverse order for the return legs, and the games will take place on November 5/6, November 26/27, and December 10/11." According to M.E.N article.

If that's true then i think we play Tottenham away after Shaktar away

I don't think its as easy a draw as people are making it out to be. We will need to target 6 points against Sociedad because the other two will be very tricky. Potential banana skin this group is.

Decent group.. Given it's Moyes's debut in the CL, I expect no faffing about in team selection or tactics.. Shakthar lost 2 of their best players, so relatively easier fixture than it would have been last yr

Also pleased to get Donetsk out of the way early. Don't wanna be going there late Nov early Dec if we can help it.

Average difficulty for us. Will be tough on the away games as usual, but think we should win all games on home soil.

Wouldn't say 6 points against Sociedad is necessarily nailed on either! We usually have real problems trying to contain Spanish sides, European games against them over recent years come to mind because they can outfootball us. As i mentioned on here a couple of weeks back, look at Seville in Rio's testimonial, they gave us a servicing. Sociedad will be a banana skin, believe me.
