Didn't we have four 0-0s in a row v Villareal at some point a few campaigns ago?

I don't think its as easy a draw as people are making it out to be. We will need to target 6 points against Sociedad because the other two will be very tricky. Potential banana skin this group is. Wouldn't say 6 points against Sociedad is necessarily nailed on either! We usually have real problems trying to contain Spanish sides, European games against them over recent years come to mind because they can outfootball us. As i mentioned on here a couple of weeks back, look at Seville in Rio's testimonial, they gave us a servicing. Sociedad will be a banana skin, believe me. Fair point. I was just trying to pick the least dangerous of our opponents. Haven't watched Sociedad at all but I know even draws at Leverkusen and Shakhtar away will be good results! Home form will be vital for our chances.

Nice to see Real Sociedad & Leverkusen. From fighting hard for the La Liga and Bundesliga around 2002-03 to fighting against relegation, these clubs have seen it all. Guess Sociedad were relegated too. Played out of their skins last season though.
Would not be an easy trip (CL never is). Leverkusen: Watch out for Bender and Stefan Kiesling Sociedad: Carlos Vela is an impressive bloke Shakhtar: ?? Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Gone), Willian (gone)

Brainwave:
Maybe Bender will have such a good two games against us we will sign him in January.

The greatest loss is Willian and Fernandinho.

I can hardly afford to get to weekend home games, nevermind away trips to Europe during the week!
That's my next aim though, a proper European away. Also United away at city, but that's never going to happen as I get shafted in the "ballot" every season.

Stop rubbing our noses in your jet-setting, boozed up, red-till-I-die lifestyle please SET. It's making me quite jealous.
