Ander Herrera: Manchester United midfielder denies deliberately spitting on Manchester City badge
By Simon Stone BBC Sport
23 minutes|Man Utd Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has denied deliberately spitting on the Manchester City badge at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Television footage shows Herrera spitting on the large badge on the floor at the entrance to the tunnel at the end of the first half. United were 2-0 down a the time but came back to win 3-2. It is understood City officials feel it was deliberate and have not ruled out a complaint to the Football Association. But a United spokesperson said Herrera did not see the City crest as he was making his way off the pitch. "Ander has seen footage of the incident and is mortified at any suggestion his actions were deliberate. "It was entirely accidental and there was no intent whatsoever." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43696454

It's a pity he couldn't have pushed out a big steaming curly one out onto it instead.
Similar in fact to the club who have allowed themselves to be used as a vehicle for the Middle East propaganda machine to operate. But hey they come with bags of cash so everything's grand. If anyone has disrespected the club ....

Only a handful of players in the current squad can play the ball he put through last night, so too that chested assist from a few weeks ago.
I reckon if he can maintain his place and keep free of injuries he's a very useful little player, love the passion he shows for the club too.

www.acast.com/thebiginterviewwithgrahamhunter/anderherrera-finallevel?autoplayAnder Herrera: Final Level Ander Herrera describes the 2004 Copa del Rey final as "one of the greatest nights of my life". That reaction to being in Barcelona to watch his team, Real Zaragoza, beat the Galacticos of Real Madrid tells you a lot about this brilliant midfielder: he's a football fan who understands other football fans. This interview - one of my favourites in this series - is going to leave you in no doubt about how that love of the game influences the player he is and the choices he makes. Listen here for tales of Spanish, European, English and international cup finals. And a look ahead to another, at Wembley, coming very soon.

Listening to him talk the way he does about football, and in his second language is awesome.

am i the only one who thinks herrera has more to offer as an attacking midfielder ? Jose usually use him in a man marking role to shut down the best creative player of other teams , i just think he has lot more to offer in a attacking role if hes allowed to do so properly.

Plays the best through-ball in the current squad.
