Good lad. He is totally within his rights to look at sorting out his future in terms of money. God knows we aren't going to offer him fuckall in terms of trophies. I just hope someone other than PSG is offering him more money. Hate to see our boy go to that plastic cunt of a club.

Confirmed leaving by the club. People seem to think this guy is going to be easily replaced. I think you’re in for a bit of a surprise. Was he the best CM in the world? No. Were we a far better team with him in it? Absolutely. Nice work Ed. So Ashley Young, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones somehow merited contract extensions, yet the club didn't really bother their arse to tie Ander down, effectively letting his contact run down. The chuckle brothers and a 33 year old winger playing full back are fine, and the most competitive midfielder we have at the club isn't. Ed's quite clearly a genius. 🤦🏻♂️

Far more interested in bidding farewell to a guy who's given us 10 years in Valencia, than a guy who's been here 5 and is jumping ship to Mercenaries 'R' Us for the dosh.
I get it, Woodward dropped the ball, didn't make him feel valued and all that shite but he still had the option to stay at a club he's got loads of "passion" for but he's going to PSG for a nice payday instead.
He's basically behaving like the type of player most are saying we should be looking to avoid signing in the future.
I'm angry because I like him. How can you not with the way he behaves on the pitch and with how he seemingly felt about us off it. But he's ruined it all with this and to go to PSG of all clubs leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

Not bothered in the slightest. Hes been a good pro but hes not a big loss really. Rumours are rife that the Sanchez wage problem has upset alot of players.

I’m curious- a blind man can see our team performs better with Herrera in it. How is he ‘not a big loss really’ in that case? Are you under the impression that we’re going to upgrade him in the transfer market? Seriously?

Not bothered in the slightest. Hes been a good pro but hes not a big loss really. Rumours are rife that the Sanchez wage problem has upset alot of players. Sanchez's wage, at the time of offering, was not as big a deal as it is now because of his track record of performance. When we got him this entire board was overjoyed because we had got a footballer who was genuinely superb. His wage only became a problem after we found out that he somehow left his football ability in London. Since sadly there isn't a way to reduce a player's wage once a contract is signed, there is nothing that can be done. These cunt players who want more money simply because Sanchez got it are the first that should be fucked off out of here. Martial, Pogba , etc. They had no track record, only potential. How can they ask for a higher wage when they've barely done anything here ?

Couldn't agree more Stewart, when you're building a new team, seeking a strong dressing room Ander is probably top of my list of players to keep. Big blunder not paying him what he's worth, vintage Ed.

Seeing this makes me angry at this cunt Woodward, he was on 60k,asked for 200k and got turned down, club lets his contract run down to where he can talk to other clubs and he settles for 160k. Fuckin incompetence yet again from Woodward, we can't go an extra 100k a week for a solid pro like Herrera but we can pay that preening show pony Pogba a Kings ransom, and don't even get me started on Sanchez wage and the new deals for Chuckle brothers and ROJO. 😡

Not bothered. I'd like Mata to follow. Yeah that makes sense, jettison players who actually give a shit about the club and have a bit of quality, keep the Instagram brigade, our rebuild just got extended.

Other than the Chelsea game this season, wheres he been outstanding? Hes 31 now and wants a much bigger contract to stay. He was offered terms and turned them down, i suspect those terms were good for a player of his ability. Do you think hes worth 150-200k a week? I know the money in football is insane but we have alot of shit on our books earning that kind of money. I think the club got this right for once. McTominay can play that role and the reason Herrera couldnt get in the side. He couldnt even get in the team over Matic whos been piss poor all season.
