Is it in the Jokes section? Noooo.
We needed one anyway, and this way we don't take it that seriously. Ease the rage/pain of what went before that shall never be spoken of again.

Herrera is all that is required in January barring a serious injury to someone.
If we could possibly get Coentrao (maybe on a permanent deal if Real sign that other guy) that might be good too. I'd kind of prefer Luke Shaw though. Looking to the future.

I'd honestly sign Coentrao as a winger.

I'd honestly sign Coentrao as a winger. the only reason he is there is cos they couldn't get a replacement in time. This one if we do manage fuck up then ... well words be lost to describe that. ( Unless Real and Coen found true love in between) Only thing is he will be CL Tied in Jan , but still i'd take him in a jiffy. Hopefully this one's in the bag by Jan

My own preference is Shaw.

Hope we don't go back in for Baines to be honest. He's going to be even closer to 30 by January.
Coentrao because he can play on the wing instead.
We have Fabio, and Blackett who I would prefer to give chances to if we are spelling Evra.

Jay . If we play kags in pivotal role at no 10 he is better than Ozil. My concern is will our new style accommodate him in this way? I hope so. I think in a funny way the fellaini signing will help kags. Free him up to play a real no 10 free role.

Herrera in January gets more difficult now as he is reportedly very unhappy with how the business was conducted. The Athletic Bilbao star insists Manchester United have “questions to answer” after the proposed transfer ended with no resolution. Herrera said: “United knew perfectly well that they had to pay the release fee to be able to talk to me but that was not the case.
“Paying the clause is just the first step. After that they have to appeal to me more than Athletic does and that is very difficult. At no moment did either I or my agent reach an agreement with United. At no moment did I speak with United. I do not know if they spoke with my agent, but after that they would need to persuade me to leave.”
Seems like the business was done in a really haphazard manner

I'm confident he will want to sign in January. The fact we didn't get to the talking stages means that we made no promises and he's in the clear because he didn't try to leave.

Yes MB very much possible. Maybe Media playing tricks & yes hopefully he signs in Jan. Also, probably the lad is trying to do some damage control to win back Athletico fans. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/10287782/Manchester-United-baffled-by-criticisms-of-summer-window-policy.htmlInteresting and possibly rage-inducing article. Also from the BBC Sport gossip column... "Manchester United claim they have no regrets about not signing £42.4m playmaker Mesut Ozil ahead of Arsenal. The Premier League champions were offered the 24-year-old a month ago, but chose to prioritise trying to buy a central midfielder and left-back" That's from the Times website but it requires a subscription. As for January, well, I can definitely see the club making signings but who they'll be I've no idea. I can see them going back in for Baines and perhaps Hererra. I don't think they'd be successful with either but y'know, I'm sure they'll give it a shot, with bids that would make the rest of Europe laugh. In an ideal and somewhat realistic world I'd love to see Gundogan or Sven Bender, but I can't really think of anyone else. All this talk of a left-back seems silly to me, Buttner is gash but we have Fabio as backup to Evra. If Moyes is determined to get rid of Evra then I'd like his replacement to be Baines, but for nothing more than maybe £10-12m, given his age.
