HO-LEE FUCK. They cannot be serious with this shite. 'A high class centre back'?! No, because JEvans and Vidic are your front two high class centre backs. Then Smalling and Jones. Oh, by the way, Rio Ferdinand is still available as well. '£ 30.5 million is too high for a midfielder who hasn't been capped for Spain.' Fellaini hasn't been capped for Spain either, and we threw away an extra £ 4 million on him.

If that is genuine and they can't see the errors then they need to give their heads a shake.

Spoonfed article. Its not like Henry Winter to suck balls like that, should have been signed off by Woodward.
Paul, can you change that pic to an actual picture of a cunt, that fuckers face invokes a ferocious rage deep in the very core of my essence, like a primordial reaction to fire, my kill or maim instinct.

That article loses complete credibity when it says Fellani was Utds number 1 target.
Strange from Winter, who I regard as the best football writer in England. Maybe he's been promised exclusives for this?

And I'm not even bothering to mention the centre half thing. Utter nonsense.

Ok The first thing I will say about this shite is Herrera had a buyout clause that had to be matched. Why on earth did UTD officials go to spain if they were not willing to meet this criteria? ?? The second point is this. Why did we have failed bids for Khedira, Sneider, Thiago, Fabregas and Baines? What the fuck is the nonsense about a centre half? Evans is one of the best young defenders in Europe. Smalling, Jones, Rio and Vidic aswell.

Right,
After a few days of calm and consideration I have come to this conclusion.
Moyes should have been in the job a lot quicker than July 1st. Since taking over on July the 1st he would have been inundated with work for Pre-season and the Season ahead, not to mention trying to get his head around being the gaffer of the biggest club in world football. Quite a change from Everton.
I can't help but feel if Moyes had been given the luxury of taking over as soon as the season was done we would have made some better judgements. He would have had a considerable amount of extra time to look over our options in terms of players at the club currently and players on the scouting list.
The fact we have bought Everton's best player comes as no surprise, Moyes clearly knows Fellaini very well and we as United fans know him all too well.
I'm pretty sure the player list from the scouts probably had Cesc, Thiago, Herrera, Sneijder and Fellaini on the first page as possible CM's to buy for this season and in a bid to appease fans we leaked info that we were bidding for said targets, we couldn't lose really, tell the Press and Fans that we're interested in top targets, bid for these targets. It's a no brainer.
What I do hope is that from now until Jan, Moyes has a good, proper look at the squad, clears the decks in January of the players eating up high wage bills and not giving a good enough return and freeing up spots for (hopefully) better scouted targets from now until then. I don't mean that we need to get a better scouting network, just that Moyes needs to get in the mindset of looking at these players a lot closer than he would have at Everton. In other words, I hope we see him on the tele at some La Liga or Bundesliga games this season checking out some talent.
I've come to terms with what we've got, Fellaini is a dangerous player, especially from corners and set pieces, something I think we lack when RVP is taking the dead balls. Zaha is still yet to make an impact on the league itself, something that will no doubt come and something I'm extremely excited about knowing his talent and the performances he's put in so far for us.
I'm happier than I was on Monday night let's put it that way!

I can't see him getting a new deal yet.
I like watching Buttner because it's like watching 8 year olds having a match in the playground. Running all over the place, no regard for defending, shooting from everywhere. He reminds me of a really happy dog that's been let loose in the park. Fucking shocking LB but at least he's having a good time.

How can Buttner believe a word of what Moyes says after he spent the summer trying to get Baines and then a last-ditch attempt to get Coentrão?
As a defender I think Buttner is shit, however I think there might be some merit to pushing him up the pitch to be used as a winger, as he seems pretty solid going forward.

Started life as a left winger.
Should probably have stayed there.
