Rumors (only rumors) that Kroos has rejected an initial contract extension at Bayern. Can't see him leaving, he's been the most utilized midfielder there this season. Please make it so...if we do this right we could assemble an awesome midfield... ....then we just need to sort out the defence! The defence is good except for the left back. Easy fix

Easy fixAgree, and if the midfield is sorted correctly, the defence will be ok as it should have better protection and not left so exposed.....

PSG want Januzaj apparently:
Manchester United have turned down a significant offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Adnan Januzaj in the current transfer window.
The French champions have refused to drop their interest in the 18-year‑old despite him signing his first major contract at Old Trafford in October.
United rejected the offer and have made it clear they do not want to negotiate about a player David Moyes has said is talented enough tobecome one of the great modern-day players.
PSG, who have also had a £14m bid for Newcastle United's Yohan Cabaye rejected, were at the head of an extensive list of major European clubs trying to lure Januzaj away from Old Trafford earlier in the season and had been hoping to capitalise on United's difficult first season under Moyes. They are seventh in the Premier League and out of the FA Cup and Capital One Cup.
United subsequently tied down Januzaj to a contract that recognises the extraordinary potential he has shown in his breakthrough season. The teenager could have earned more at PSG but opted to stay in Manchester, as well as turning down offers from Spain and Italy.
However, PSG have retained their interest at a time when United are not guaranteed the top-four finish that would ensure qualification for next season's Champions League.
Cheeky fuckers.

Expect Januzaj to be a major summer transfer topic all summer if we don't make top 4 . The sharks will be out for him.

Man Utd 'consult Rooney on transfer moves'According to the back pages of the Guardian, the Daily Mirror and the Sun, a previously disaffected Rooney has been briefed on United’s plans in the transfer market. As Daniel Taylor writes in The Guardian: “Rooney was given advance notice about the £37.1m deal to sign Juan Mata and has also spoken at length to the manager, David Moyes, and the chief executive, Ed Woodward, about their vision of the club under the Glazer family's ownership, in complete contrast to what happened when [Sir Alex] Ferguson was in charge.” “The England striker has been trusted with transfer-market information and kept in the loop about possible signings in a move that acknowledges his importance to the club and a recognition, at the highest level within Old Trafford, that a player of Rooney's stature deserves to know whether a team who have been struggling all season have the financial muscle and ambition to put it right.” Ferguson revealed in his recent autobiography that Rooney – who agitated for a move away from Manchester United in 2010 after publicly questioning the club’s ambition – told him to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid, only to be told to mind his own business. But in contrast to Ferguson’s intransigent stance, Moyes has proved more flexible by keeping Rooney up to date on the club’s successful record transfer for Chelsea playmaker Mata, whose arrival is a real statement of intent for a club currently struggling in the league. Rooney was believed to be keen on a move to Chelsea last summer after Ferguson claimed the striker had once again asked to leave Old Trafford, but Moyes has worked hard to keep him in the United fold. As well as consulting the star on transfer developments, it is also reported that Rooney will be made United captain if and when Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the season. Rooney will also be offered a new contract which could be worth up to as much as £300,000 per week. But it is news that he has been consulted over the club’s recruitment policy that is the most eyecatching. As Taylor writes in the Guardian: “While United would not ordinarily discuss transfers with players, the discussions show an understanding on their part that it would be self-defeating to keep him out of it.” - Eurosport. =========================================== Let every fucker that supports Rooney and questions those who hate the cunt's guts here look at this article. Look at it because this is why we hate this little shit. This is why we want him out of our club. This selfish cunt will only harm our club. If Rooney gets the captain's armband Moyes has fucked this club.

if that's true and DM and Ed actually are doing that. Second Kags surely has a death curse on his United Career if that's true. As for all the "lets Get Cabaye" - they have turned down PSG offers and are looking for something around 20M. WE could get Matuidi or Fernando or Rakitic for that and all are better players than him. I Think there is a shift at our club with regards to transfers- we usually never talk about the fees that we pay or seek to not make it a point earlier but now its all about making a statement and showing intent or flexing muscle. I think its clear to who's-who that Fergie could and got the best out of all the limited resources he had at his disposal but the rot had set in long time ago and Moyes is no Fergie. We should have kept abreast of what was happening with all the other big clubs and the wannabe's but SAF simply was the difference. No longer we'd need to spend and continue to if we want to remain in the top and that realization has dawned upon the gimps and Ed seems in particular stressed on letting the world know that we are after big names- whether that as a strategy will work or not remains to be seem. But , fair play , i will give him points for getting us Mata. Intersting to see what plans DM and Ed for the future , except ofcourse theirs on the Cunt , again

I can't see it myself, but it wouldn't be a bad thing really if he was an advisor. On the captain issue, I'm sure Moyes has a word with Vidic about potential new signings so nothing would be different, but Moyes would always get final word. At least Wayne knows whose good and as a player, he'd probably hear more gossip on who may be available through other players, E.G on England duty. If true, it could really work in our favour. Although his ego might be a downside.
He definitely shouldn't be captain though.

We are short on captains but it can't be Rooney. I'd be looking at a short term captain until Jones or De Gea or someone takes over it'd definitely be Fletch if he can pplay regularly.

We'll I can't see that they discuss transfers with Rooney, what I can see in them making him captain and him signing a new deal and let's get this right the deal will be to stay not to get more money from any club. My choice for captain if fit is fletcher however if fellaini produces and we get a midfielder his chances for starting diminish. Just on mata the guardian had this yesterday www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jan/26/chelsea-manchester-united-juan-mata-transfer

If Rooney gets the captain's armband Moyes has fucked this club. If any of that story is true it just goes to show how fucking little Moyes and Ed get it. Completely takes away any goodwill or feeling towards the new regime that was brought with signing Mata. What a fucking C*nt of a situation. Fuck off Rooney, please, please, please just fuck off. If we give him that deal I honest to fuck hope he gets a career ending injury.
