I think now, its a nailed on No:7 shirt for Mata and Ladnan will end up with 11 eventually when Giggs hits 80+ years old...

Wouldn't take anything the Portuguese press claim seriously. We signed Garay and Gaitan acc to them William Carvalho seems to have immense potential and I did rather him than Reges. Also, with Mata7, we might be okay with Fellaini and Fletch in mid.

As long as he performs for us it doesn't matter what team he supports. Terry supports us yet he gives his all for Chelsea

But so would the others, if I had to list in order of choice it would be him, matuidi and Fernando as the first two I feel in terms of game play are better for us

Terry was a huge Utd fan as a kid. Ole was a massive Scouse fan. Terry turned us down as a kid. If i re-call he was on Goals on Sunday years ago when he said no to Brian Kidd, i dug out this old interview "And you weren't a Chelsea supporter ... No, I was Man Utd growing up. You know what it's like when you're a boy, you want to support the team that's winning everything. And my dad and grandad were Man Utd fans. But my first day at Chelsea I knew that was the club I wanted to be at. I just loved it. But Man Utd also approached me. I met Alex Ferguson - great to meet. During the school holidays I would go up to Manchester and train with their boys for two weeks, play a few games and come home. But one thing that was really special about Man Utd was that Alex Ferguson took time out and invited me to one of their games and to have lunch with their players. So there we are - me, my mum and dad, my brother. He made me feel so special, autographs, my photo done with the Premiership trophy. I think it was hard for my dad to take that I was going to sign for Chelsea, but I had to sit him down and tell him it was definitely the right decision." Regards Rooney.... I wish i could turn up at work.. look like i work harder and get huge payrise! Sadly i think the Rooney thing goes deeper than what we are told. Rooney is argueably our most profitable asset at the club in terms of global name and branding. Yankees will need Rooney to make more £££ so his new contract etc is prob seen as an investment. I do not agree with him being Captain! i do not agree with his payrise or that he is staying.. But if the twat keeps playing like he started at start of the year we have a hungry player. No doubt he will go back to being piss poor after his new contact.. Queue me moaning he cant make a 5 yard pass

Mata has changed my opinion and expectations on transfers completely. Go for young/potential or the real deal like Vidal, Gundo etc. I may be wrong but Reges is like Cabaye. In the sense better than what we have but in terms of where we wanna be, won't help. Stop gap solutions should only be loan deals and not eat up squad space.

Back on topic.. Don't like Ladyman normally as he runs some rubbish on unfounded storys but i have cut the interesting part. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2546402/David-Moyes-promises-like-Juan-Mata-37m-man-set-start-against-Cardiff-Tuesday.htmlUnited scouts watched targets Filipe Luis and Diego Costa help Atletico Madrid to a 4-2 win over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday. The Old Trafford club put the finishing touches to Mata’s transfer on Saturday and even though he lacks match fitness, he will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game and could link up with Rooney if the 28-year-old comes through a fitness test on his groin problem. Moyes added: ‘Juan’s not too far away. I know he has missed a few games and not started as many as he’d have liked, but I’d like to get him involved against Cardiff. He will handle everything. & United are also very keen to sign Shaw but have not made a bid and are pessimistic about their chances of doing that deal this week. They have no interest in Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye.‘I don’t think we’ll have any more in January,’ added Moyes. ‘I’m still working on it and looking to do things. We know exactly what we’d like to do and if it changes in the last week then we’ll try. ‘I hope this will be the first of some new signings that will arrive, but more likely in the summe

Matudi is cup tied, maybe that's the reason we're going for Cabaye. Mata is cuptied too bud. For me realistic mids are matuidi and Fernando due to contract situation and talent. And calvalho. We can get one or 2 this window. All are exciting players and will do the job. Calvalho has the caveat of us being able to throw Nani in as a sweetener obviously with the hope Nani would go back to Portugal greed in toto. Cup Tied is ,IMO, nonsense, we aren't and shouldn't be buying for saving this season or for ths season alone and in that i agree with Moyes that it can't be panic buys and these 3 players 2 of whom are value for money given there contract situation and more so their playing style and position is what we lack exactly we should be all over them. and the kind of fees quoted this should be done without any second thoughts whatsoever.
