Moyes has decided to play russion roulette till the end of the season. He is pinning his hopes of on our attackers outscoring the opposition. No CM available to could improve us considerably is a joke. No LB that could improve us is a joke. We now head to the hardest transfer window of all in a world cup year with an awful lot of work to do. Reports also saying that Kroos wont decide his future until after the WC, so if we have genuine interest in him then we all know what that will mean ...price hike & competition

Is Mangala really that much better than Jones or Smalling to warrant a 30m+ outlay? We can't replace Vida or Rio with potential. For that money, need someone class and experienced like Hummels/Subotic to partner Evans. Besides, CM and LB are absolute priorities. Rest of the areas can wait. Agreed, £35m on a unproven CB from a poor league is absurd -- in very few circumstances would I be happy if we were to spend that much on a CB, and for that they would have to have had either Premier league or Bundesliga experience.

I can't even bring myself to consider a scenario where Mata didn't happen or he moved abroad DM has nowhere to hide now. 2 windows and true to his personality, hasn't made a single bold call.

From the official website
Moyes happy with business
David Moyes says that Manchester United will not bring in any more players before the end of the transfer window, but the boss is delighted with immediate impact of record signing Juan Mata.
The manager was speaking at his press briefing on Friday lunchtime, ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Stoke City, and he declared himself satisfied with the major piece of transfer business that the club did this month.
“There's no disappointment [that there will be no more transfers]. I said at the start that we wouldn’t do much business in January. There's no one reason for that.
Of the arrival of Mata from Chelsea, Moyes added: “He's everything I thought he was. He's a terrific footballer, a good lad to work with and he’s settled in quickly. He played well in the game, which was important because we wanted him to make a difference straight away. I'm wary that we need to give him time to settle in and not expect too much too soon, but I was impressed with his first game.”
Wilfried Zaha has joined Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season, a move that Moyes feels will help the young winger realize his potential with its prospect of more regular game time.
“I said right at the start of the season that if I could get him the games I'd keep him. If I couldn't then I’d get him some games on loan,” the manager added.
1. You are the ONLY one who is not disappointed in this transfer window...
2. There is a reason for not doing more - it is called incompetence...also complacency and it is hard to know which is worse...
3. Why could you not get him games? Are Young and Valencia playing so well that they are undroppable?
I am somewhere between despondent and furious....

Lots of kids going out on loan, hopefully get some game time. Interested to see how Tom Thorpe does. And Blackett should do well at B'ham, was really good at Blackpool, acoording to the Blacpool fan at work.

We could use a LB, yes, but Evra's experienced enough to see us through this season. Honestly think all these loans are laying the foundations for next season.

I have calmed down.. I can only imagine that the reason we are unable to make new signings is because the ones we want are all still playing CL footy with their respected teams.
Secondly.. Nani hasn't gone yet, and with Mata if we turn up at stoke in a 4-3-3 with Mata/Shrek/RVP as a 3 with Adnan + 2 other midfields i think that we will be our future formation.
